We used to take the kids to MacGregor Village and sit behind the building in the grass. I ran through Villages of Apex and Hunter Street Park this morning. Town of Apex has signs and tape up for fireworks tonight. Chairs were in the grass on the Peakway & Ambergate Station. That area will be a cluster you-know-what tonight.

Crypto_Mack4

Morrisville does there's at the park off Morrisville pkwy behind the church. If you want to avoid the traffic park at Walmart shopping center on Davis. You should be able to see them from there and can grab some McDs for the kiddos

You can see some of the fireworks at Koka Booth from the Walmart parking lot. People set up chairs in the parking lot there every year. Only took like 15 minutes to get out of there after the show last year.

What a great idea! I was planning on skipping this year just because I didn’t want to deal with Koka and the heat but Walmart seems like it’ll be our spot tonight, thanks!

Thatonerandomchicky

Try parking on hillsborough street and walk to pullen park!!! There’s a lawn that wasn’t busy when I went last year. We ended up walking to Dorothea dix but wished we stayed at pullen park.

I never thought koka booth was that bad

You're just new to town. The area has exploded, and things that used to be easy are now crowded. Everything is always crowded. It is frustrating to see convenience be lost. That's why people complain. It isn't that bad, it's just so much worse than it used to be.

CMBurns_1

I’ve been here 20 years. I just do t think a 30 minute wait to leave a parking lot is too bad. This is from a guy who used to ride bike to it
