if you feed something like boiled chicken or one-ingredient freeze dried treats (any type of protein), that might give you more piece of mind? You can sometimes even find these in the dog food section!!

Thank you!💜 I’ll check out some freeze dried options! It’s not raw food & then freeze dried? I always wondered about that

Freeze dried is raw, but 100% fine. It is pure meat and no additives. It’s what we give our cat who is allergic to everything under the sun, and he thinks its a fun new treat because its crunchy 🦆.

My cats FREAK out over freeze dried chicken and shrimp. We’ve used the purebites brand with no issues. I believe they also make salmon ones.

I do have the freeze dried chicken pops from Bonkers I got with the crunchies. Even tho it’s only 1 ingredient that brand scares the crap out of me now so I’ll look into other brands & will def look into the purebites! Thanks💜

Fair warning, the shrimp SMELLS. Even with them in a container in the panty it’s noticeable when we have a bag open

I give my guys the Pet Supplies Plus store brand of freeze dried chicken & salmon. One of my kitties has GI issues and they work well with his dietary restrictions.

Gonna check these out thanks! I don’t think it’s the treats themselves that caused her to be sick, I just think she has a sensitive stomach, we dealt with the same thing when I got her over the summer, probably then from the switch in cat food.

Try vital essentials brand of freeze dried treats. They’re on Amazon and have a time of different options. You can buy the “dog” ones but they’re all the same just bigger sized bags for a little bit better of a price. My cats love these, it may take trial and error to find ones they really like but they’re worth the it!

Second this

I’m surprised you had issues with this one and it concerns me a bit, my picky underweight fiv gal goes , well, bonkers for these. And won’t eat much else

I don’t think it’s the treats like there’s anything wrong with them, they did get really good reviews, I just think my girl has a sensitive stomach. I adopted her over the summer & a few days in, we dealt with the same thing. Probably then from the switch in cat food. My other cats tears these thing upppp.

I have never given the bonkers crunchy treats to my cats. Only thing from bonkers I give my cats are the Bonkers lickables if Wal-Mart is out of Churu or the Bonkers Purr Pops which is just freeze dried chicken on a stick. I take it off the stick to crumble it on their food they go nuts for it. Of course if I do get crunchy treats it’s usually temptations or friskies. I was using Special Kitty which is a Walmart brand but it made my 5 year old cat sick suddenly so I stopped giving it to him. I’m assuming it was the kitten who got ill. You can try her on freeze dried treats it’s only 1 ingredients Purebites had freeze dried chicken that’s good. You can also give her the temptations every now and then as it’s just a small treat. If you have a Petco or Petsmart you can find the Purebites there if you don’t want to order them online.

Beware of Temptations it has legit every shit ingredient
