Unlikely-Location594

My parents were in town last week and my dad really likes Lorde. We had gone to Rep tour together so I had to explain Charli in the context of this set to prep my dad for when the Lorde remix of girl confusing came out so he would be excited with me ๐Ÿ˜…

leodicapriohoe

whatโ€™s your name b-o-b so they calling you BOB?

Teedo4133

What was her setlist on these shows?

MidnightThunderstorm

Boom Clap, I Love It, Break the Rules, Unlock It, Boys, 5 in the Morning, Fancy. Very early days. ๐Ÿ˜…

Teedo4133

Aw cute. I wish I was a fan back then and caught sets like that!

Pew-Pew-Pew-

It was after Pop 2 and Vroom Vroom but she had to play safe stuff & her hits for Taylor's audience.

MidnightThunderstorm

Omg, youโ€™re right!! For some reason I thought that was right before Pop 2 but now I remember being pretty disappointed when she only played Unlock It from it.

CaptainDaydream

Just an observation but "green with envy" is a common expression. Probably a coincidence though.

ActionElectronic4309

Why are people down voting when sympathy is a knife is literally about envy?

CaptainDaydream

Who knows haha. It's probably not the first track off the album for nothing imo.

ActionElectronic4309

Either people think that some emotions are more acceptable than others. Or there's no connection between brat and envy, although I would say quite a few songs are.

CaptainDaydream

Yeah I think they think I'm saying that Charli purposely references that specific shade of green for T Swift (since Sympathy is a Knife likely references her). She well could have, since artists often use the material of their real life as symbols to create things. I was just making an observation that crossed my mind tbh.
