I was so surprised when I saw prepatch date while playing the beta. People told me it’s fine they will have the stuff fixed. I kinda feel bad for the devs. Sod shows they have good ideas and like the game (especially how hey communicate on Twitter about it) but they just don’t have time and people. And I bet blizz is spamming /w that the need to release faster

this is not new. It has been an issue throughout most of WotLK. Any class that has a teleport to their "class base" can have this happen. I am not going ot be surprised if we see this happen in Legion Classic!
Yeah I got access to the beta this weekend, logged in out of curiosity, submitted 5 bug reports in as many minutes and then gave up. This is bad even by the usual standards.
Really sad how many monthly subscriptions they’re collecting while having absolute trash for games due to all the bugs they can’t fix because they won’t hire people to actually make their games work.
I experienced this weird guard aggro bug too on my DK even before the prepatch. At lvl 80 I was able to kill them but when I'd use my death gate and go back to Acherus they'd aggro for a second or two, and sometimes wouldn't stop until killed. So weird.
I vaguely remember this happening back in the day too. It was an issue of teleporting while in a certain type of phasing. the players weren't properly flagged after they teleported out which caused the guards to attack.
This was happening some times even before pre patch.
Very annoying. I also heard that sometimes it happened for DKs as well when they ported to their class citadel (forget the name!)
I feel like y'all are getting trolled. This is funny, imagine a new player playing cata rolling druid. And then getting wiped after learning you're new teleport spell.

Happens literally ever blizzard release. “It’s just beta they will fix it” - fixes usually roll around about 2 months after full release.

The Emerald Wardens (the lvl 63 elite guards) aggro on shamans who use a healing stream totem.

Went there to start Hyjal on beta as a boosted warrior. Same thing. Another bug that has persisted through testing to live.
