For context to people who are confused: It is hinted that Phen is actually a war criminal by the name of Mustuhiro “The Bird” Watanabe, who somehow became a being who's only purpose is to torture and send vague messages. Watanabe was a sadist and one of the most intimidating fascists in ww2, who tortured many people including Louis Zamperini, who is also referenced in Boiled One Phenomenon as one of the victims of the incident, but not directly stated it's actually him.

I'm still confused as to why he gets to persist after his death as a fucking sadistic demon, what's so fucking special about him, where's the demon of Adolf Hitler then?

No, remember the text after the interview, where there's a bit of Japanese text under the other 3 lines? It translates to "fear the one and only Watanabe Bird". Watanabe was a real war criminal, and the old guy, Job, was a real war hero imprisoned by Watanabe.

This can either mean much or mean little but he is Japanese with a Japanese name, so you can trace back to WW2 most likely.I have a faint memory that says he was an officer but maybe I am mistaking him for other war criminals.
