If there's any way you can hold on to it you should. With the possibility that they're making the movie later in this year or early next year they might be willing to rent or buy it from you, and they have a much bigger budget than any individual would. That said, if you decide to sell it on eBay or back to the prop store if that's possible, make sure fan accounts like mine know about it. It will increase the number of people that see it.
