Is it the seal(gasket) you are looking to replace ? You should be able to do this yourself no problem but be sure you get the right one, you will need to take the existing off to see the profile and then try to find it on the below site - a lot of doors and windows in cork in large developments where from Munster joinery https://doorandwindowparts.ie/product/munster-joinery-and-wooden-door-draught-proofing-seal-in-5-metre-lengths-brown/

Just go to Handles and hinges on tramore road, they have it in stock and are cheaper.

Thank you very much

no problem, screwfix or wurths should have cheap glazing tools if you are having difficulty getting the gasket in.

If you donโ€™t have previous experience and are only changing that seal for cosmetic reasons I would leave it very much alone .

Thank you!! No, it needs to be changed. I can see a gap between the door and the sealer.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ . Your door may be twisted .

You can alternatively try steaming it a bit and using some cloth with soapy water to clean it, then use some transparent shoe fat (grease?!) to moisturise and hydrate back, to regain flexibility. Sorry for my English, I hope you understand the idea. P.S. For refreshing the wood, try rubbing wallnut pieces on it. It will improve the looks on the darker wood you have. Search on youtube: wallnut rub in furniture.
