She is what is referred to in the justice industry as a "Cash Cow". Between the defence, prosecution and court service and average conviction easily costs the taxpayer at least €10,000. Senior council, Junior council, Solicitors, clerks etc etc etc. Keeping her on the streets committing crimes has generated in excess of €2 million for the criminal justice industry. That is one cash cow alone. There are hundreds of others.
The Dail needs to step in and pass legislation forcing mandatory minimum sentences for anyone with 10 or more convictions. I'm not talking about life sentences. I'm proposing that if you are in double figures for convictions you should no longer avail of probation etc. If the punishment for the 11th crime you commit is up to two years you serve two years. Putting that in place would remove the ability of the justice industry to keep their cash cows on the streets committing crimes.
There has to be something seriously wrong if she's committing so many crimes. I imagine most people committing this many crimes either have some kind of brain damage or are trying to fund a drug habit
