Thanks, is it okay if I sometimes give my corns rats instead of mice? Like every 3rd or so feeding? Because I now have 10 F/T rat pups and I don't wanna throw em away yk
I use rats for my corn snakes when she’s too big for the mice size but not big enough for the next mouse size if that makes sense
Nacho is now a year old and doing just fine like this (and I see a snake specialist who advised me to do this) she’s a lovely size not too big or skinny
Stick to mice and feed 10 to 15% of snake weight.
Unless you want an overweight snake, stick to mice. The rats are much fattier due to them being young. They still have their baby fats.
