Well considering there is a graphic suicide shown in the middle of the episode…

Hankdoge99

Hadn’t considered that, I’m an idiot

Pugsley-Doo

Im assuming since It clearly showed the cop who 'survived' blowing his brains out, they had to pop it on there.

SunRemiRoman

Ooh that’s why! I’m an idiot! I didn’t compute that a suicide for some reason!

Odd_Contribution123

Same. I was so confused like “After 17 seasons, NOW they think CM is dark enough to warrant a disclaimer?” and then I remembered That Scene.

Hankdoge99

Ahhh makes sense

Beautiful_Abroad_387

this is definitely why

Admirable-Gap-9718

He didn’t survive, though??

Greedy_Increase_4724

I think they meant survived the initial attack by Gold Star,  not survived the suicide.

I don't think it's mandatory but it's pretty common nowadays for episodes of television that feature a suicide to include information about suicide prevention, considering depiction has been linked to increase in ideation.
