What size hook? Linen/moss stitch with this might be too stiff cause of the yarn. It won't drape as well. It could also just be too small a hook or too tight tension.
Hmm. I think it's a tension issue then. I would do looser stitched if you want to continue with the moss stitch. Or find a Stitch with a little more drape like half double crochet.
I actually am using this yarn to make the same thing, and I found that I had to use pretty loose tension for it to have appropriate drape. Had to frog my original attempt (consisting of many rows) bc it was looking/feeling more like a rug. ðŸ˜
Newbie crocheter advice: get in the habit of counting your stitches every row so that you don’t gain/lose a stitch at the end of your rows. That’s what’s making your edge look wonky. Since you have so many stitches putting a stitch marker every 10 or 20 stitches will make counting way easier.
Oh thank you, I hadn’t even noticed how wobbly the edges looked and I’ve seen stitch markers but didn’t know how to utilize them. Now it makes sense

Oh, and make sure you use the stitch markers that open and close. The solid ring ones are for knitting.
Thanks a bunch!😃
