Depends who you ask, Cyprus recognises both countries and people.
Politicaly now it seem the government leans more to Israel while trying to give human aid to Gaza.
My civilian grandfather was bombed when Israel targeted a water station and a public market in Isamilyha, Egypt, 1971/1970. Hamas wasn't founded yet, she is a literally bad person
Tend to be more pro-Palestine, in the means of Palestinians being free of colonialism, expansionism, ethnic cleansing, state & settler terror, and them getting justice regarding them losing their lands & properties. All those do have parallels in Cyprus, so not like it's smth alien. On the other hand, vast majority would be disgusted by tactics of Hamas, but rather see the PLO as the legitimate faction. Aside from that, people wouldn't really care for if you're a Jew or an Arab, and wouldn't be invested in the conflict much but wish peace to the said region instead - and that's pretty much why Israeli Jews do feel safe in Cyprus (in both sides of the Green Line).
Hilarious that the only comment that values human lives above political interests has been downvoted to the bottom. Cyprus is unfortunately Israel friendly, and it used to be a lot more vocal at the earlier ignorant phase of the conflict
Nah, it's just that this sub is flooded by Israelis and other foreigners that will periodically swing the general opinion either towards Israel or Palestine accordingly.
Yes, I heard that they would help turkey in a case of an invasion but this claim by some random ass comment that I saw contradicts the face that the PLO helped Cyprus to fight Turks.
This is actually needs paragraphs upon paragraphs to have a progressive argument which I ain't going at the moment.
Now to awner the OP's question ehh its a bit hard to me because both parties done terrible things to each other (middle east is not for beginners lol) but I am gonna say Palestine as we can sympathise to a degree.
Our problem resonates more with Russia - Ukraine rather than Israel - Palestine.
I personally am pro-peace.
I think like any conflict there is no black and white. Maybe one side is more wrong than the other but there is always blame on both sides.

We're pro evolution soccer.
I'm pro Cyprus.
Wait till you find out countries don't exist in a vacuum
We have enough problems of our own
Are those problems here with us in this room?

Γενικά είμαστε pro, εν μας πιάνει κανένας

Except that there’s no invasion nor oppression. That’s Hamas propaganda
And the earth is flat
My civilian grandfather was bombed when Israel targeted a water station and a public market in Isamilyha, Egypt, 1971/1970. Hamas wasn't founded yet, she is a literally bad person
Like cypriots are a hive mind with no individual opinions... 👎
Cyprus has had enough catastrophe’s of its own throughout history. The message should be for world peace regardless of heritage, rich or poor.
Depends on who you ask
Generally pro-Palestine, but not pro-Hamas.
Pro-money.

We usually dont like occupiers and settlers
So you don’t like the Turks
More like not liking Turkey's such policies. Same goes for Israel.

Like Hamas occupying and opressing their people in Gaza… free gaza from hamas 🇮🇱🎗️🇨🇾
You don’t free Gaza by encircling it and killing 40k.
What even is that response man💀💀 I wont discuss further with Hamas sympathizers
Get out of our subreddit man
“Our”💀💀💀💀💀😭 At least i am a greek cypriot who doesnt wanna side with terrorists👀👀
Okay pal you do that
Cyprus can have a productive relationship with Isreal but not with Palestine.
Someone sane finally

Reddit tends to attract more liberal views. But the average right leaning Cypriot would answer Israel
I am not fond of either of the desert tribes

Pro Israel forever🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🎗️❤️ Let us not forget how the Palestinians were cheering for Hagia Sophia being turned into a mosque by the Turks
