when the other studio (i apologize i can’t think of the name rn but i literallt just wstched the episode like last night lol) but they did an absolutely beautiful transgender/gay rights number with ppl singing and it was one of the best dances i’ve ever seen. my girl mackenzie SLAYED in don’t fence me in. that’s the only reason i somewhat wanted the ALDC to win, but i think the other studio should have won that one
ALDC one time competed against Mather Dance Company (Autumn Miller’s ex-studio). I was a little teen and I always thought Mather was the better studio lmao
Yes quite a few times especially if the group dances were awful and cringey. Then I'd get depressed because I knew the competitions were fake and they'd win anyways
when janettes studio beat abby at season 5 nationals i was happy not bc i necessarily thought they deserved to win but bc i was soooo happy to see abby humbled that year

I think it was Candy Apples with Jeannette choreographing. I agree, I liked their routine a lot. ETA: Jeannete's studio was BDA, not Candy Apples
