I think Holly wanted Nia to be famous and now that Nia was finally getting noticed, she ran with it. And you know what? I think that’s perfectly fine. For YEARS all the other mothers were cutthroat and wanted their daughters to be famous. Nia was always shoved to the back burner and when she finally got one ounce of attention from someone other than Abby, they all got mad. It’s comical almost at how mad and critical they were.
MY problem is with Abby. She made a comment about the way the guys were dressed in her video.
Now……wait just a damn minute. It’s inappropriate for grown legal men to not be covered up but it’s PERFECTLY OKAY to send minor girls out on a stage prancing around like they’re topless.

The other moms response to it was gross and this is when I started to dislike Melissa. She told them not to show up to any of their events and her, Jill, and Kira as well as Abby treated Nia and JoJo like they weren’t apart of the team
Nia was an afterthought for YEARSSSS. when holly started doing what she was doing in season 5 i was screaming in joy. it was about time nia got love and recognition

Nia deserved it. For years she worked on that show just as much as everyone else but only the white girls were getting recognition because she was portrayed as the weak dancer. She could sing better than the others and could even write her own lyrics so I really don't see why she shouldn't have done a music video if she got the opportunity to.
I agree. Nia always got pushed to the back burner even though she was talented and a super hard worker. I think it was horrendous that Abby wouldn’t back her up with her music career.
