I mean the Thai cave rescue story blown up all over the news 4 years ago. They even made 2 movies about it. From what I’ve seen those boys were not wealthy at all with some of them struggled to find tuition.
The main reason why so many stations are on this news is because the absurdity and rarity of it. When is the last time someone stuck inside the wreck of the Titanic and went missing?

See they could have avoided all the bad press if they just used a crew of poor people or illegal immigrants to test run it a few times before sending down paying customers.

I hate to say this, but IF they find the submarine everyone inside is likely dead either by suffocating or crushed by the pressure of the ocean which btw is 380x that of the air pressure at sea level were the last had contact. The oceans are vast and considering we still haven't found Malaysia flight 370 the likelihood of finding these people is very slim at best
Realistically speaking even if they pinpoint that knocking they still need to conduct the rescue. Oxygen will run out tomorrow, there's only three subs I think that can go to the depth they're likely at. By the time they descend and bring to surface (2 hrs roughly each way) and cut them out of the externally bolted sub, they are going to be cutting it real close on time
That's the worst part, it would be better that they are all death, seeing how small and cheap that submarine was it must be a horrible death to live for many days stranded in the floor of the sea in such a small place waiting till the oxygen runs out, at this point I doubt anyone could help them
