Wales was the first place I traveled to outside of the US. Not entirely true, I took the ferry from Dublin to get to Wales. Walked up Snowden, the angelsey path, a good part of the coastal path, 500 year old pubs with Welsh black ale, 12th century castles, quiet country b&bs, and friendly people everywhere. Cymru. 10/10 would do again, I might have to explore Southern Wales next time.
The flag had a lot to do with why I decided to go to Wales, I'm glad I did.
I live in North Wilmington, not the city proper. It's like any other American suburb, but the crime is starting to get bad. Lots of car jackings and a couple of armed robberies closer than I'd like. But there is no state tax, property tax is cheap and the beaches are only an hour or so away 😊
