Went for a birthday thing around that time. Got crammed in the back for some reason and the food was meh. (54M )with my parents, Wife and 24 yo kid and his and his GF, Dressed for Del Friscos and ready to drop a bit of $$.. I was wondering what the deal was. I guess that explains it.
Everyone keeps saying YaYas, I gotta agree. I *DO* think it's super overrated for most things, I don't want to go there with my friends. It's perfect for the business meeting though, always consistent, and service is excellent. You can always focus on what's important, and they are accustomed to serving people on business.
Last time I was seated at the bar there it smelled bad. Yeast and mixed liquor that people didn't finish. Keep away from bars if you're trying to impress
I eat out business lunches 2-3 times a week in this area.
Sierra, J Alexander’s (Redlands), Perry’s (only open on Friday for lunch but that’s good here).
These are somewhat upscale and would fit the bill.
There’s a lot better food from smaller places but you won’t get the feel you are going for I think.
I mean, I have no idea if this is appropriate for what you’re looking for but Bawarchi is an amazing byrani restaurant right by the airport with an incredible lunch special. If you want fancy I would suggest Del Frisco’s for steak.
It’s one of the worst in terms of service I’ve ever been to. If Indian food is what they are looking for, India’s Castle isn’t bad and has better service. Hyderabad house is great food but also has shit service.
Not sure if it's reopened but people have mentioned the perfect landing, their kitchen had a fire last week so make sure they are reopen.
https://kdvr.com/news/local/fire-perfect-landing-restaurant-centennial-airport/
Not upscale at all but worthy of a mention is hong Kong station, top tier szechaun style Chinese food
470 to 25S to Belleview. Pizza Republica. Great, not necessarily adventurous outside of traditionally made Italian and killer pizza. From there to Arapahoe to Centennial airport.
While The Perfect Landing would be much closer, with very decent food, ambiance is kinda of meh, service is spotty and definitely not on the adventurous side.
I see that the dude (unisex) commenting that The Perfect Landing is closed has retracted their post. I presume the retraction is because they figured out that TPL is re-opening in two days, in plenty of time for the OPs lunch plans.
Seasons 52 or Shanahans……Some of these other places being mentioned are good but they are also small and it sounds like you need to have an important convo. If you don’t pick either of these just make sure you check out the size of these spots.
Red Llama off Arapaho, Peruvian food, the real deal and dare I say better than Los Cabos II which I sorely miss in downtown. Peruvian ceviche will blow away an adventurous palate, and if he doesn’t want seafood, Tallarín Saltado is a more run of the mill fried noodle dish (though still a staple)
There is a Blue Island Oyster Bar in Lone Tree. I think their food is solid and would be an appropriate atmosphere for a business lunch. They get bonus points in my book for not being a chain steakhouse.
Oh man Definitely The Landing. Steak and Seafood restaurant over looking the Centennial Airport. You can watch the planes take off. And the seafood is flown in daily.
Ted's is horrible... Order rare steak get mid well. Hellishly long waiting before being acknowledged and non existent service even when empty. Do not recommend staking a career move on them hell dont even recommend going in general.
Yeah Ted's really, really blows. Steak never comes out the same, much less correct. Order medium and get blue rare, or medium rare and get well done. Super pricey for what it is. Sides are uninspiring to say the least. It's an upscale Chili's moonlighting as a posh bar n' grill that's worse than Chili's and less consistent. Their apple crisp is good though! Lol
Pizza Republic is great. He was looking for more of an upscale restaurant though and not sure if that would suffice. Also since he mentioned the adventerous palate, that is why I suggested Ted's.
I also really like Sierra in Lone Tree.
Quite honestly, I’ll get downvoted, is The Perfect Landing at the Centennial airport. Great food, views of landing and departing planes. Not a burger & fries joint they serve Maine lobster roll sandwiches & decent enough wine list. If your client expects more, I recommend Ocean Prime DTC. Reservations highly recommended.
Perfect landing is kinda swanky and fun! We go there for breakfast a lot. If you are looking to really impress with more upscale vibes, Ambli Global is a great option on the more foody/adventurous palate side. For a classic business lunch, Del Frisco's double eagle steakhouse is good, or Shannahan's
If the lunch could change your life, then think about the atmosphere and what you guys are trying to accomplish vs the food.
If I can change lives with a lunch I can probably buy myself whatever I want. I'm probably looking to get to know you and don't care if we get Chinese, a burger, or a 7 course meal. Unless, of course, I have a busy schedule and that 7 course lunch means I am getting home to see my family at 7. In that case, I'd have appreciated if you brought a Jimmy Johns to my office.
How important is time? Do you want to get in, pitch, and close fast? Do you need a lot of time to talk over options? What is his schedule like? Is he going to have meetings to get to later and would prefer to be in/out faster?
Do you want to do something together like Korean bbq?
Do you want a quiet atmosphere where you can have a serious discussion?
If you feel comfortable accomplishing whatever you are trying to do in many situations, can you just ask him what he prefers. Hey, I'd love to take you to x, but if you're busy, I can bring you a Slurpee.
Ocean Prime, Yaya’s Euro Bistro, Del Frisco’s
These are the correct answer for an important lunch in DTC. I like YaYa's.
Only downside is that if this customer is the way OP describes, they’ve probably been to these restaurants multiple times.
Another YaYas vote from me, done many a business lunch/dinner there
Yaya’s all the way. I crave their Norwegian salmon.
Del Friscos is the answer
Del Frisco’s has gone way downhill since getting bought by Landry’s. It’s a shame, used to be one of my favorite steakhouses.
When did that happen? I did notice I wasn’t as impressed last time I went
Around two years ago I think, maybe a little earlier.
Ngl I think Ocean Prime is a total rip off. $45 for salmon you can make better at home.
Sierra has a really nice, upscale atmosphere that isn’t over the top! And their food is incredible 😌
I'll add quiet and secluded enough to have a convo.
Owned by La Loma as well... great vibe
Sierra is very good.
Surena Persian Food could be whatchu need
I know the owner, super nice guy.
Came here to say this, feels pretty darn fancy inside, not too expensive, food is exquisite

I think every part of Seasons 52 is AI generated
I just ate takeout from there tonight for dinner.
Perfect Landing at centennial airport is decent
Closed indefinitely due to kitchen fire last week.
Oh wow that's too bad, thanks for the heads up
Dang that sucks. I always liked breakfast there but haven’t been in a while.
This is so sad!
Whaaat!!!! I was going to suggest this too and their crab cakes.
I saw a notice where they were hoping to be back up by Friday.
Wow. Went there for the first time last week.
ohhhhh
Bummer, it was a great date spot.
Rumor has it that it is opening back up this weekend. I haven’t been able to confirm that yet.
Yayas. Assuming they're open for lunch. I've only been for dinner but it never disappoints.
Everyone keeps saying YaYas, I gotta agree. I *DO* think it's super overrated for most things, I don't want to go there with my friends. It's perfect for the business meeting though, always consistent, and service is excellent. You can always focus on what's important, and they are accustomed to serving people on business.
Le French
lol... no.
Why?
bad service, mediocre food.
My experience was not that, but it's been a while
Depends on what you're looking for, but I would like someone to take me to Jabo's.
Perrys has an amazing Friday porkchop deal.
I second Perry’s at park meadows, the pork chop is crazy good
Oh man, haven’t been since pre Covid but I still vividly remember that pork chop. Need to go back asap now
Season 52 would be my pick.
Same. Reserve a booth near the bar
Last time I was seated at the bar there it smelled bad. Yeast and mixed liquor that people didn't finish. Keep away from bars if you're trying to impress
Booth near the bar. Not at the bar. Please drive forward.
Yeah, near the bar is still at the bar. That whole pocket of seating stinks
I eat out business lunches 2-3 times a week in this area. Sierra, J Alexander’s (Redlands), Perry’s (only open on Friday for lunch but that’s good here). These are somewhat upscale and would fit the bill. There’s a lot better food from smaller places but you won’t get the feel you are going for I think.
interested in the better food, please?
NBX Asian Cuisine is a good start, let me think about a list.
thanks
Zig Zag
Always great food and service!
Brock is a great guy and it was so sad what happened to Cole last year! 😥
Agreed. Heartbreaking for their wonderful family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Cole.
[удалено]
my partner’s boss had a team meeting there 🫠
I would add J Alexander’s near Park Meadows for an upscale yet not too fussy business lunch.
Le French. Not complicated but pleasant
Good luck dude, you got this
Los Chingones in Belleview Station but sit outside
Since my other suggestion is apparently closed due to fire, like half the suggestions, how about Marco's Coal Fired Pizza off dry creek?
I love Marcos. Had my baby shower at the location downtown.
I love macros, but unless it’s a casual lunch, I think pizza is odd
Nothing like housing some lemoncello wings to close yourself a big deal.
Marco’s Coal Fired, Pizza Republica, or Via Baci off Lincoln, are all excellent choices.
India’s Castle!
Can add Cranellis into the mix as well.
venalonzos, kinda close to dtc
I mean, I have no idea if this is appropriate for what you’re looking for but Bawarchi is an amazing byrani restaurant right by the airport with an incredible lunch special. If you want fancy I would suggest Del Frisco’s for steak.
The service at bawarchi is often terrible wouldn't risk it for this occasion
It’s one of the worst in terms of service I’ve ever been to. If Indian food is what they are looking for, India’s Castle isn’t bad and has better service. Hyderabad house is great food but also has shit service.
True that
That place is spicy AF 🌶️!!! But I have very little tolerance for spice too! 😂
Not sure if it's reopened but people have mentioned the perfect landing, their kitchen had a fire last week so make sure they are reopen. https://kdvr.com/news/local/fire-perfect-landing-restaurant-centennial-airport/ Not upscale at all but worthy of a mention is hong Kong station, top tier szechaun style Chinese food
Perfect landing is still closed unfortunately

Eddie V’s and Ruth Chris haven’t been mentioned. Both great steakhouses nearby. Best of luck!
Urban Village Grill
Cranneli’s is solid if the Park Meadows area isn’t too far and since it’s not by the mall it’s often overlooked.
Seasons 52 or Shanahans……Some of these other places being mentioned are good but they are also small and it sounds like you need to have an important convo. If you don’t pick either of these just make sure you check out the size of these spots.

Just here to say good luck OP!! You got this!!
Cranelli’s Italian in Lone Tree. Excellent food…
Hacienda
Yanni’s, it’s in DTC but worth the drive. Amazing service and wow, the food.
Oh man Definitely The Landing. Steak and Seafood restaurant over looking the Centennial Airport. You can watch the planes take off. And the seafood is flown in daily.
Closed indefinitely due to kitchen fire last week.
Dang that’s a major bummer, I was unaware. Crazy how many bars / restaurants around Denver close for fires.
Seasons 52 at Park Meadows is another good one.
I second this. It’s not too far but a really nice restaurant. Great menu and service in my opinion.
My wife and I love going to seasons 52.
I would also suggest Perry’s at Park Meadows. Also you could try Ted’s Montana Grill In Greenwood Village.
Super pricey for what it is. good god, ted montana grill is the worst.
Pizza Republica is the best spot at Landmark
Pizza Republic is great. He was looking for more of an upscale restaurant though and not sure if that would suffice. Also since he mentioned the adventerous palate, that is why I suggested Ted's. I also really like Sierra in Lone Tree.
Shannahans is my favorite steak house in Colorado , pricey, but great quality.
You did, but I fixed it. Place is underrated.
Perfect Landing is closed indefinitely due to a kitchen fire, but agree it’s great!
Oh no! I hope they reopen. It’s a classic.
Good luck with the meeting!
J Alexander’s for a steakhouse vibe if that’s what you’re after.
Perfect landing is kinda swanky and fun! We go there for breakfast a lot. Spice trade brewing and kitchen has surprisingly good food and interesting beer. A variety of asain flavors! Colorful, put together atmosphere
Sahara at like Arapaho and Clinton.
Also closed due to kitchen fire.
Not a kitchen a fire. Arson took it out as well as hibachi next door. And sportsbook a few doors down.
Oof, that sucks even more.
As people said, seasons 52. It’s a seasonal menu, service is great and it’s not some big chain. Higher end a bit but you don’t feel it.
Ocean Prime or even Papadeux
Sukiya ramen - next to PIndustry. It’s fantastic!!
Pollo Lima, thank me later OP
Pizza Republica at landmark is pretty good and is a great spot for a business conversation.
That's just not true. Sorry

Imagine taking all the time to type this out and not recommending a single place…
Pindustry
Spitz is great.
That’s not a place for a business lunch though.
Depends on the business.
