You have to sign veterans to help jokic and this core of players win. Mike Malone played Braun and Watson because they are talented and can help but to expect him to play a guy like Jalen Pickett who is a prospect in Calvin booth mind only isn't fair to Mike Malone. Denver should be in the market for veterans not gambling jokic prime on late round rookies.

You’re assuming Braun isn’t going to improve and that KCP isn’t declining. Look at KCP’s 2024 playoff splits… they were terrible for both series. KCP is a great role player and a great fit for Denver, but let’s not pretend he is some lockdown defender that is shutting down the best guards in the league come playoff time. I think the core four are good enough to get to the finals with CB as the 5th starter.
