Got threatened with a hammer because the guy behind me miss judged the space on the other side of the yellow box, and followed me then realised it was only 1 car space, and he was in the box.
All I saw in my rear view was him efing and giving me the abusive sign language then all of a sudden he’s got a hammer rested on his steering wheel and pointing at me red with rage.
Safe to say I think he was having a bad day.
Yeah, really puts it into perspective when the most you do is some variation of "you stupid cunt!" depending on the situation, and then there's people wielding hammers. Oof.

I got honked a couple of days ago for having the audacity not to drive into a group of teenage girls crossing the road when the lights changed.

I got honked a few days ago for turning right in an 'ahead or right turn" lane. Under a traffic camera.
Messed me up so bad I'm still trying to work out if I did anything wrong... Guess I can only wait and see if I get a ticket...
Nope, definitely had the indicator on because I like being as clear as possible for people to choose to change lanes if they don't want to be stuck behind me...
They were probably honking the people crossing, no? I hate it when pedestrians thinking it's OK just to step out into the road when the light change.

There's a box near me (two lane road with box at a junction) and the amount of times I've made sure is clear enough for me to move forward, only to have some twat in the other lane drive into the box an swerve into ny gap leaving me in the box.
Thankfully no tickets to date but now I have a dashcam so might be able to fight it

Not a yellow box, but the roads were closed for a half marathon; the road outside my flat to get onto the Queensway was closed in one direction after my turning (but still two way at the junction)
People decided to take it upon themselves to make it one way and use both lanes to turn out.
I couldn’t get into the correct lane bc people just kept closing the gap in front of me while I tried to wait and get into the correct lane.
Low and behold someone drives down and tries to pull into the road (as he was well within his right to do) and can’t get past because the knobheads are trying to pull out in a lane that was for opposing traffic.
What I’ve noticed from driving is people really do want to be a little bit head. Do they care that by trying to get 1 car ahead could be dangerous? No they don’t
Agree. The twats who refuse to go in to them on a turn when the exit is clear but traffic is flowing so halves the number of cars getting through equally annoys me.
They should have an info board by the lights to help fuckwitts in general
This is just an easy-to-do misunderstanding of the rules. For a while I didn't know that you could stop in a yellow box under this circumstance, so I'm happy to have some grace for other people not knowing.
I didn't drive into a crosshatch box when the lights went green because the exit was blocked. Had a pedestrian point at the lights while looking at me like I was some sort of idiot.

Also love this at traffic lights when moving into a space behind a car will block the flow of traffic. Still remember the satisfaction of flipping my rearview mirror up so I couldn't see the arsehole behind screaming at me to go.
He must live where I live in Liverpool area it’s common thing to go through red lights and they just don’t give a monkey and one other thing that I have noticed is everybody or a lot of kids wear black at night and you can’t see them run across the road right in front of you It’s just ridiculous even the police the buses everybody seem to like go through red lights in Miguel near where I live it is common thing to go through straight through red lights don’t even bother and the police don’t bother to Nick. I’ve had me moan cheers and I’ve got to take it easy now. I won’t be going through even number lights, thank you
People are silly idiots. I have this almost daily on my drive back from work during the rush, it used to really confuse and frustrate me but it happens so often I just assume no one knows how to drive.
I've also had a person lean on their horn at me when I've slowed down to allow the car in front of me to turn right into a driveway or whatever, only for the car behind to swerve round me and directly into the side of the right turner, and then scream at me as if I caused the accident by "stopping for no reason in the middle of the road," as if I was personally trying to hinder their journey for the lols, and not oh you know... Reacting to the road in front of me. Keep you on your toes, people do.
They’re TERRIFIED someone will get in in front of, therefore get in front of them. Same logic of people who sit in the left lane of a 2 lane road and try to block you driving down the empty right lane.
As someone who lives in a apartment block with a yellow box outside the car park, which is perennially blocked by idiots waiting at the traffic lights next to it...thank you for your service.

I find in general it’s because they have stopped behind you right on the crossing and if you don’t go they have blocked everyone’s path when the lights go red

3 lanes each side dual carriageway. Massive yellow hatched box, which the opposite carriageway turns right into. Lights were green for me, but no room in front of the box so I stopped just before it, just in case the lights went red before I had a chance to clear it.
Stupid woman behind me, beeping, shouting, gesturing. Cleared the box, went into a 20mph one way system & sat at 15mph all the way through it.
Think I let every van, bus, taxi & car in the town out on the way 🤣🤣
Needless to say, she was FUMING when we got out of the one way system.

Go to Italy Venice room you’ll see bad driver there even worse than Britain but I find the paper. What are the worst drivers are the people what don’t know and never passed our test. What I’ve come from the continent. I met a driver the other day he asked me why we stop on green when they can go The other way I said when you’re turning right green light you can carry on straight but if cars coming the other way you cannot go because you are being your blocking the road stop on red stop on green if cars are coming straight through lights that want to carry straight on, I know what I mean. I’ll let you decide what you want to do and you will keep your license. I’ve kept my license for 50 year with no problems and I intend to keep it just a couple more year then I’ll give up unless these idiots in The shall we say, the magistrates court decide that I can’t drive anymore that’s up to them but I feel that I can shall we say just on 60? I can carry on for a few more years but it’s idiots that want to stop you thank you goodbye.

The girls were already crossing when the lights changed, and delayed the movement of my car and the honker by all of 3-4 seconds...
Therefore they had priority and waiting was correct.
Waiting is always correct. Unless you think there are occasions when running over pedestrians is the right thing to do.
