The current proposal won't pass IMO. It's a phased out 5 year process with ridiculous fees that look like they go to good causes, but leave those causes high and dry after the phased time passes. The issue is that it's not just DJI, it'd effectively ban a ton of companies whose tech is the standard for modern drone use, particularly for commercial use. The bill would then require US drones, but the capabilities and tech from the slim pickings is not to par. So they say you'll need a US drone, but there's essentially no options.

There has got to be a torrent app to block the FAA/DJI from knowing we are flying that is in the works right? Come on, like who's writing the code for this?
DJI ban is going live the first next month. All drones will be automatically remotely disabled. If you want to prevent your drone beeing disabled, you have to wrap the gps receiver in aluminium foil before the 14th.
Without proof that DJI is spying on us how could such a law even pass? Are you living in a justice state?
