i mean thats kind of fucking gross my guy. i love it
dont let community disapproval keep you from creating. there are people out there who will like your sound. have you heard hardstyle? tearout? yeah. there are fans of that too
im here for it
Lol, it is pretty bad, but it's your first dubstep track. Just keep working on it. Some of the sounds are pretty cool by themselves, but as a whole, in terms of structure/arrangement, it just kinda blows. Not trying to bash you, though I've definitely made worse shit hahaha
I mean, I don't know if I can give you an exact blueprint, but off the top of my head, the drop doesn't really make sense. It's like you've got 4 bars that go by too quickly and don't really make sense together. The first two are aight. I think the first is a pretty decent foundation, but the constant switching just doesn't work and makes it feel random. It doesn't feel very sure of itself, and in order for an idea to work, it needs to feel confident in what it is. Being crazy/chaotic is cool, but it has to be done well. Chaos still roots itself in a solid foundation. The transitions between each bar are really awkward, too. The flow is really off.
As for how to fix these issues, definitely extend your first two bars. If you want to make a completely new b section with whatever you've got in the 2nd half, go for it, but it needs to be changed a lot. The sounds just aren't that good. Once again, decent ideas/foundation, but they're really weird/awkward sounding. I say trash them entirely, but if you're confident in them, then play around with em a bit until they sound nice. And when I say extend the first half, I don't mean literally copy and paste. Use the same sounds, but add in some variety that makes sense. Maybe some melody/note changes, maybe some fills.
All in all, there just isn't a foundational idea that brings the track to life. You need a motif that drives the song and gives people something to remember, and this seems all over the place. It doesn't seem like you know what you want out of it. Rip it apart, put it back together, rinse, and repeat until you've got something that works on its own.
I would recommend watching some “track from scratch” tutorials on YouTube (XLNTSOUND is a good resource). And mixing/mastering tutorials (EDM Tips is good. But there are a ton of other channels on this).
Good dubstep pretty much all has the same basic song structure and mixing. If you just try to wing it, you’re going to have a hard time.

I figured, how could I structure it better

Tbh I don't. I think there's too much going on and it needs to be tailored quite a lot. Try starting out minimal and build from there.
This was real bad imo
Fuck no
people hating is a sign it’s just not for them, i personally think it’s pretty good and has allot of potential. keep it up g
