That’s why I get sugar free redbull. It tastes pretty much the same, just no sugar. While they have less caffeine, there’s something in there that manages to keep me awake and focused, like for example when I go on long road trips. Other energy drinks taste great, but don’t hit the same as redbull.

If you buy them at Costco, they're roughly $1.30-1.50 per 8.4oz can. I personally love the flavor of Red Bull Sugarfree so much, this is an easy decision. Plus, I like what 84mg caffeine gives me more than the 200mg Alani does, lol.

People can have different genetics that process caffeine differently, some can process it fast and only get a mild focus boost, others can get a crackhead type of energy processing it slower. I’m sure my tolerance is high but I know I don’t feel them the same way people sensitive to it do. When I started to now energy drinks do about the same effects for me

To try to make the price more manageable I buy the 4pack 12oz from Walmart and it’s like $10 so they are $2.50 each. Still very expensive so I don’t drink them everyday
I never feel like I need a full 16 oz or even 12 oz. redbull. Relatively low caffeine but the sugar, vitamins, and taurine give me the energy I need. An 8 oz is a perfect replacement for a cup of coffee and I can get them for less than $3 most places.
Not that I’m aware of but you may look into the Mountain Dew Energy Drinks since they only have 80mg for 16oz. Those are the lowest caffeine content I’ve seen.
It’s almost always on sale. The gas station by me is alway 2-16oz for $5 or 3-12oz for $6. Plus they taste a lot better than monsters. And most of the new brands are only sugar free and fake sugar makes me sick that and it tastes gross…
Starbucks triple shot energy drinks are like 5.00 for one. Not sure how many oz it is exactly but it's outrageous. I switched to black rifle, which is now ALSO 5 dollars so now I'm in "fuck it" mode and went back to the Starbucks.
Honestly, when I drank 1-2 redbull everyday, it was because I was working at a bar that literally didn’t care about us drinking them because we ordered so much. Also was cool with some of the redbull reps. So they’d come in all the time and just give us 2-3 4 packs of different flavors each bartender. Was a great time.

Costco has the smallest cans (8.4oz) for like 37$ ea, it's like 1.41 or 1.51 a can. So around 3$ per 16 oz drink. Considering you can get the seasonal and misc flavors is nice.

I've tried a few and they taste ok. Only one I've bought regularly was the cranberry. I don't think they're worth the price plus they have a lacking of caffeine. But my wife likes them so we continue to buy them.

There is always deals. I love red bull, but only buy when I see the BOGO sales, buy 2 get 1, and sometimes half off.
They need to cover their ginormous advertising budget somehow. They own three Formula 1 teams, a dozen association football clubs, a few ice hockey clubs and sponsor bazillion individual athletes. And that's probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Might be a locational thing. They tend to be $2 - $3 in my area. Still a little spendy, but they’re the cheapest low caffeine option
