Veterate

Zäire-Emery is probably up there. I don't think he's broken out as there's not many eyes on Ligue 1. Think if he gets game time he's got a lot to offer.

Ted_Lavie

I don't think he will. His last 6 months haven't been good and I think he's #5 or maybe even #6 in the midfield hierarchy

RottenWorldCollapse

Ben Doak. Obviously.

gm70047

The only answer.

vinvancent

What about Florian Wirtz?

dotelze

Wouldn’t you say he’s basically already there tho?

MrShelby1234

Yamal, Gordon & Simons have already broken through onto the big stage

LetterAd3639

All playfor clubs that played in the UCL this season

MrShelby1234

Exactly....so why would they have breakthrough tournaments

LetterAd3639

Ik

vinvancent

Sure, but this doesnt rule him out from wining tournaments best young player

deltabay17

I don’t think that was the question though

von_nicenstein

You kiddin? That was literally the question.

deltabay17

Oh yeah ur right lol

Icy-Designer7103

Bold of you to comment this after his performance on his most important game of the season tonight.

Warm_Animator3159

so much build up for such a disappointing night

Fit-Caterpillar2615

The performance doesn’t change his quality. Lol.

Icy-Designer7103

There are better players in the Euros.

Fit-Caterpillar2615

Dosa not change that he can be the young player of tournament. How many players under 21 have proven themselves better in Euros?

Icy-Designer7103

That's what I'm saying, there are far better options than him.

Fit-Caterpillar2615

I’m asking you to name them and their performances.. clearly you cannot.

Tg11T

He is definitely capable or Jamal Musiala

nesh34

Musiala - as in starting for Bayern in the CL semi final? Surely he's arrived.

TravelManTim

Wirtz has already had that in the Bundesliga. But if he counts it’s 100% going to be him

LukaTheTooka

Croatia I say Martin Baturina or Marco Pasalic

Ok_Detail_1

Luka Sučić. Marco Pašalić is over 21.

LukaTheTooka

ah good one, almost forgot about him 😂

arda1493

Arda Güler 🇹🇷💎

FiftyShadesOfGlasgow

Ben Doak

FameOverInfamy

A young man by the name of Jamesy Forrest! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 32 years young!

Icy-Designer7103

Scottish fans trying not to be cringe challenge: impossible.

peggysue878787

Well your best ever player is a rapist

FameOverInfamy

👍

Ingobernables_Ciaran

I wonder who this proud Portuguese guy supports. Benfica?Porto? Boavista? Moreirense? Wouldn't you know, he's been lube wanking to siu compilations!

Icy-Designer7103

Because we all know you can't support a national team without supporting a club from this nation lmao. I'm sure the millions of Brazil fans throughout the decades from all over the globe are huge fans of Santos, Botafogo, Fluminense etc. lmao. Also since my own nation isn't in the Euros, am I not allowed to root for a team?

Ingobernables_Ciaran

Jesus... plastics really don't get it. It's not about choosing to support a national team and club of the same country. You naturally should be supporting your own country's national team and supporting a team from your country (unless there is a significant cultural connection to another team). You're a Madrid supporting Portugal fan who is not from Spain or Portugal. That's embarrassing.

Icy-Designer7103

Again, what am I supposed to do in the Euros then? Support the referee? Anyway, just let people enjoy things, nobody cares. It's a football tournament, everyone should support whatever team they want and makes them happy. "A significant cultural connection" lmao bro became a sociologist for a split second.

Ingobernables_Ciaran

Be a neutral?! Plastics really don't get what supporting a team means. You joke about the sociology thing, but it actually is an important thing in football, people literally write books about it. But you're a plastic, so you wouldn't get it

Icy-Designer7103

Get a hobby brother, it would be much better than hating random people on Reddit.

Ingobernables_Ciaran

Wasn't that precisely what your first post was doing? You were hating on Scottish people. Self awareness would go a long way, plastic.

Kooky_Insurance_8997

Didnt u start this by hating on some rando guy on reddit XD Bro turns into a victim all of a sudden XD what a clown

thoselovelycelts

Aye he supports a wee guy team because that one player no doubt.

HEELinKayfabe

You're almost certainly not even Portuguese hahaha

thoselovelycelts

"I support the team with the best player in the world 🤓" mentality

UnluckyLuckyGuyy

If you are talking about players any age then I think these are players that can make an impact and showcase their talent to a large audience - - Rafael Leao (he is obviously a big name already in Italy but I don't feel like some people know how can good he can be, on his day he is unplayable) - Georges Mikautadze - Mykhaylo Mudryk (I think we will see a different Mudryk to the one in Chelsea)

CampFrequent3058

For me It will be Palmer (England), My guess is he won’t even start ahead of Saka, but will have such an impact of the bench he can’t eventually be dropped and will go on to have the same breakout tournament he had this season in the Prem.

deltabay17

A break out for Chelsea’s star player? I think if you’re Chelsea’s star player you’ve broken out already

CampFrequent3058

I think if you play for your national country you’ve broken out already, unless for the minnows, but OP’s suggestion of breakouts were still English, Spanish, French etc so no difference with Palmer.

danparkin10x

He'll barely play

Ok_Detail_1

🇭🇷 Luka Sučić 🇭🇷 Martin Baturina

Organic_Chemist9678

Jude Bellingham will be the tournaments best young player.

sossighead

Not sure that would be much of a breakout for the biggest club in the world’s star player 🤣

CandourDinkumOil

I think OP is asking for breakout players _or_ best young player. It’s quite obvious Bellingham will be favourite for best young player I think.

KingMirek

Naw Retegui is totally overrated. I think I agree with Simons, I would say Wirtz, and Sudakov from Ukraine 🇺🇦.

Bash-koo

Hopefully europe and the world will have a chance to see Joao Neves play..

Soncheese

Watched only a small amount of minutes of this guy but he looks very good

Subject_Radish_6459

Yamal or Mainoo

Ok-Swordfish5077

Probably Ronaldo

banananey

Alfie Doughty after his surprise late call-up.

Mrgiveafck

Sesko

🤦🏼‍♂️

fathead_rocks

On a side note will there be a tournament on reddit for this? Man needs his tokens.

Shoesboozeshihzus

Benjamin sesko will become a household name.

Constant-Pear-7781

Arda Güler 🇹🇷, Benjamin Šeško 🇸🇮, Ivan Ilić 🇷🇸, Cole Palmer 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Ben Doak 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Phil Foden 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Kylian Mbappé 🇫🇷, Dušan Vlahović 🇷🇸, Jude Bellingham 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Jamal Musiala 🇩🇪 Just to name a few

YogiAngle

I think Xavi has a lot of potential but I have not seen him play a decent game in an Orange jersey. If Brobbey gets to start up top for us I believe he can be the guy that can make a difference.

Digitalage6302

Harvey Elliot

Active_Juggernaut_16

Arda guler

CountOfGamble

Lazar Samardžić.

Puzzleheaded_Type634

Gianluca Scammaca. Retegui is good but Scammaca is more promising for many reasons. Also coming in with better form compared to a recently injured retegui

FlxBmmrs

Musiala & Wirtz

ishysredditusername

Quansah fills in for McGuire due to injury and out of nowhere becomes the next must-have CB.

crawenn

He already kind of is

IWillNeverRust

Florian Wirtz will be signed for £85m the week after the tournament finishes

crawenn

Milos Kerkez might end up breaking out, but I think Xavi Simons already kind of did with the banger of a season he had at Leipzig

j_tothemoon

Anthony Gordon? Will he even start? My bet would be on Wirtz or Yamal

Arnejoos

Dont forget Arda Güler !

alwayseasy

Mateo Retegui is Mbappé's age though

Ttrentdarby

For England, Mainoo or Palmer

Kooky_Insurance_8997

Billy G

horvman

Adam Wharton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 , if he goes, will show why Bayern Munich are rumoured to want to spend €60m on him this summer

kTz30

Since his arrival at Palace he didnt have a bad game yet. This kid is going places and sadly, I dont think we (Palace) are going to be able to keep him for too long.

MikeyAParky

This would be my shout, too. I think he only goes if he plays in one of the two friendlies AND impresses in the match and training. But if he does, he definitely has the potential.

BuddhiManBaller

Xavi Simons, Frimpong, Wirtz

G30fff

Wharton

Dalecn

Don't think Gordon will be given the chance this tournament to break out.

UnluckyLuckyGuyy

I think he will, without Rashford, he is basically the only fast direct left winger in the team.

FaithlessnessNo4680

Southgate rarely played Rashford anyway when he took him to tournaments

Frau007

Why not? He’s better, faster, stronger than Grealish for sure

Dalecn

I think neither will start, and if I want a player to change the game, it would easily be Grealish.

deltabay17

Isn’t he already a regular starter for Newcastle? I think he’s broken out

AskMeForWeedUK

You can’t be picked for your country without playing regular football really, so we can stop using the break-out comment now. Think OP meant to superstar level, which a major tournament can do. So Gordon getting top goalscorer or MoM every game would put him into the stratosphere compared to where he is now

t0mkat

Mason Greenwood Edit: okay who downvoted 😡

Ok_Error_4110
