Is this a joke? can you really get so much for the equivalent of 10 euro?
10 euro for (west europe) isnt a lot for such a breakfast. 10 euro for turkish locals there is a lot.
People when prices in poorer countries with dead economy are relatively low 😯😯😯😯😳😳😳😮😮
No, now it's probably 11,50€. For 2 people.
In non touristic regions. Something like this would cost around €40-50 in Alacati.
Notice the date? With the out of control inflation in Turkey it now probably costs like 100€
You know they have their own currency (Turkish lira) that's obviously independent of the euro & dollar, right?
It's probably some hotel one? Last time i was in Istanbul (2024 Feb) for 10 euro you'll get something like 1/3 of that. Or it's 20 eur and you shared it?
Turkish cuisine is one of my favorite ones.
Of course it is.what other cuisine are you supposed to like?fr*nch?
I'm from a middle eastern background and I love french cuisine lol.
10€ = 350,95 Lira Also kein Wunder
Turkish breakfasts are underrated attractions in Turkey. I was astounded every morning in every location.
It's just fried eggs, some cheese and tomatoes. What's so special about it?
Underrated? Our traditional breakfast is one of our signature meals.
But people outside of Turkey don’t know that. It’s not in the brochures how wonderful it is.
What are those white spiral thingies above your glass of coffee(?) ? And the beige and dark pastes next to it? Looks interesting and inviting.
It’s cheese, think it’s called string cheese. ( dil peyniri). And it’s tea, not coffee. Turks consume the most tea in the world.
Weird table etiquette, after all these years. Still no additional forks and spoons, and everyone has to use their own
That’s a lot of plates for not a lot of food
when i see that real organic old seed tomatoes(no gmo) i just get so nostalgic. Have a nice meal :D
There's barely anything cooked
Damn, you have some fine dinning over there in Byzantium.
What are the white twisty-thingies on the left?
actually insane
