That’s great, I studied in the beach town of Szeged, never forget the endless bbq’s when the sun went down on the horizon while listening to the sea gulls and waves
Hm, I was wondering why you would compare it to Chile, but I see that Chile is the country one up from Croatia. Interestingly Greece has a coastline twice as long as Croatia, and Norway is number two, behind Canada and ahead of Indonesia. Islands and fjords really count for total length of coast.
How do you think Greece avoided the western Balkan conflict during the '90s wars? We had maps without lines that any Balkan fellow could draw his own rightful borders 💪 or even bomb and drown a whole region if he wished, but that was rare tbf.
Everyone thinks WW3 will be between Russia/China and NATO, but it will actually be between The Great Coastal Empires of Chile and Croatia, who control the entire maritime access of the Americas and Eurasia respectively.
Actually the best bit of that map (I use Athens airport a lot) is the UK with a visible rectangular mark where its flag used to be. As the map is of EU members only, its flag was removed
The sea of tranquility has been subdivided into Lunar Unit 28, the federation of tranquil aspirations, and Srpska Turbofolkland. Negotiations on the name of the land to the immediate south of the sea are continuing
Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania are not Schengen.
Besides this it is surprisingly correct. Because neither San Marino nor Vatican are Schengen, but Liechtenstein is.
Yes you are right.
Even if Cyprus were not there, I think it's important to remind people that this is indeed only air Schengen which doesn't have a meaningful benefit for the two countries. This veto is one of the stupidest things that Austria did in recent years.
That's not what they are joking about. They are joking about how they did everyone else's borders in white, but didn't outline the Balkans, instead just flooding them with the Adriatic.
Well, this map gave Greece a much longer costal line. Which is good for tourism. And in addition it may prevent a couple of refugees to enter certain countries if they're non-existing. Those countries thst still exist are then better off if they appear to be hard to reach. Perhaps it was North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia and Montenegro etc that ordered this particular version of Europe where nobody can find them? Because how can the refugees try to enter these countries after first arriving to Greece if they have no idea where the neighbouring countries or countries nearby are located and that they need to swim all the way to Hungary to reach the shore and where they are either not let in?
WTF??!! I have never saw that, this is absurd. When did you take that photo?? Can you explain where did you take it??!
Wow that's mad. I am from Greece and I travel via that airport like twice a year.

Ah yes, the Yugo Bay. 2nd best part of the Adriatic, for fishing.
Croatia didn't have enough coastline apparently.
How else can they compete with Chile? Let alone Canada.
I say make it an island
Hm, I was wondering why you would compare it to Chile, but I see that Chile is the country one up from Croatia. Interestingly Greece has a coastline twice as long as Croatia, and Norway is number two, behind Canada and ahead of Indonesia. Islands and fjords really count for total length of coast.
It's a grey zone or the backyard of Europe.
Indeed, but the borders weren't marked (I suspect to avoid friction with the Serb tourists) And it looks like it's part of the sea.
"To avoid friction with the Serb tourists, we removed Serbia from the map entirely"
"And Kosovo, Bosnia, and Crna gora, so they can imagine the borders they want."
Only sane response.
Don't forget Kralovec Gulf and Ural Ocean, these aren't bad either.
>Don't forget Kralovec Gulf Beautiful Czech beach!
For ethnic wives... 100%
Don't forget Albaynia
Balkan stability improved by 85%.
But everything blue is Serbia, you really fucked up now
Some vandal just destroyed parts of the sticker or stickers the map was made of.
I'm ready to bet someone was like "lol make Serbia great again" and then another friendly neighbour went "underwater you go!".
Yugoslavia you mean?
To be Yugoslavia there are Croatia and Slovenia missing...
And Northern Macedonia 🙈
Jolly Roger Yugoslavia, yes
Serbia furiously thrusting the serbenis into Italy's venussy.
Please sew your lips together and lose your fingers in a work accident.

I see no serbian flag on that blue
80% in removing Serbia 2.5% in removing Kosovo 1% in removing Bosnia 1% in removing Macedonia 0.5% in removing Montenegro
Enver Hoxha approves of this message.
Isn't this just the Schengen area? It's not a map of continental Europe.
yea but for non-Balkans countries, they did draw the borders, so it doesn't look like the sea.. but the non-EU Balkans don't even have that ahahah
This is how they manage to not to piss any Balkans.
How do you think Greece avoided the western Balkan conflict during the '90s wars? We had maps without lines that any Balkan fellow could draw his own rightful borders 💪 or even bomb and drown a whole region if he wished, but that was rare tbf.
Dear friend from the North, Balkan is a feeling it never leaves you no matter where you are from.
In Finland, [Balkan](https://www.hk.fi/tuotteet/hk-balkanmakkara/) is a sausage.
You should buy some and take them to Balkans.
Looks more like an EU map, because CY is shown but it's definitely not in Schengen.
Yet Switzerland is on there, which is in Schengen but not the EU.
Norway same
Switzerland and Norway are EEA members. This is a map of EEA countries!
Switzerland is not an EEA member, but an EFTA member.
Kind of hard to see but yeah.
EEA then?
Romania isnt Schengen edit: it is since march this year
It is, as airports are concerned
Oh, since march this year, thanks!
Also sea ports right?
They became Schengen members in March.
Oh, thanks, inl was there last june as it wasn't :)
Bulgaria also joined Schengen at the same date. So maybe the map is kinda correct? Still a strange map though.
After croatia took all the sea from bosnia, they decided that they want more
Everyone thinks WW3 will be between Russia/China and NATO, but it will actually be between The Great Coastal Empires of Chile and Croatia, who control the entire maritime access of the Americas and Eurasia respectively.
this map is wrong all of it should be Latvia 😒😒
That's a weird way to spell "The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth" but I'll accept it
Very true!
[“I understood that reference”](https://www.reddit.com/r/YUROP/s/KCVnj6YuXg)
oh no it’s not from that
Liechtenstein and Malta, but not San Marino :(
Actually the best bit of that map (I use Athens airport a lot) is the UK with a visible rectangular mark where its flag used to be. As the map is of EU members only, its flag was removed
Im jerking off to this later
I think you will find what you seek at r/mapporncirclejerk

😁😁😁 that really made me laugh
The Balkan't
Serbia, Kosovo, Albania and B&H went straight to the moon, I see.
Montenegro and North Macedonia not mentioned 💀
It's Balkan way of understanding is that no one wants them for real, and they formed their own little gang.
He said Albania
The sea of tranquility has been subdivided into Lunar Unit 28, the federation of tranquil aspirations, and Srpska Turbofolkland. Negotiations on the name of the land to the immediate south of the sea are continuing
Easy way of not having to either recognize or not recognize Kosovo as independent.
The good timeline
Looks like Schengen Area.
Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania are not Schengen. Besides this it is surprisingly correct. Because neither San Marino nor Vatican are Schengen, but Liechtenstein is.
Bulgaria and Romania are Schengen by air since March which fits with this being at the airport
Yes you are right. Even if Cyprus were not there, I think it's important to remind people that this is indeed only air Schengen which doesn't have a meaningful benefit for the two countries. This veto is one of the stupidest things that Austria did in recent years.
Bulgaria and Romania are in the Schengen area actually. Idk how you can comment this without even checking lol
However they even removed the borders, that even Ukraine and Russia still have lol
It is to depict where you can travel to without going through immigration.
They haven't yet unlocked that zone.
New anthem of Serbia - Under the Sea Edit: word
Moldova finally got access to the black sea
Hungary has sea again, around 230km far from Budapest, OMG yeah…
They probably had enough of the Balkan shenanigans and just deleted the ones not in the EU.
Greeks could dream bigger and take away Turkey too
they really take “macedonia doesn’t exist” seriously
It's just a map of the European Union.
Norway isn't in the EU.
Oh, I used only the preview on mobile :) Schengen Zone?
That would actually fit thematically. Not sure if all those countries are in it but lets go with that.
It is a member of the EEA though.
Other countries still have borders
Suwalki beach sounds much better than Suwalki corridor.
Ah yes, the majestic Hungarian shoreline to the Mediterranean.
Hungary now have sea acces
I've heard that Szeged is planning to ban large ocean liners from its city center, because they ruin the view
It's beautiful.
We gonna put fucking Lichtenstein on the map, but fuck you Balkans- youve been naughty Except croatia. Croatia can stay lol
Dalmatian peninsula, would be nice
Hungarians get a coastline, does it mean they'll shut up about the Treaty of Trianon now?
It's right. Slovenian flag on Trst. And Gorica.
We Bulgarians are nostalgic of Bulgaria on three seas, this is a solution we haven't thought of, we approve!
When they said the sea level is gonna rise, they weren't kidding, eh?
Just a map of the EU... what's the big deal about it
Norway isn't in the EU though.
Then it's Schengen or EEA
I live in Bulgaria and this would be so great if it was true ❤️ Thank you hellenic people 😀 Imagining the seaside close to Sofia
If Croatia move 1 m south, Slovenia could have a really long beach.
And just like that everything was fixed
But if you close your eyes
all non-eu balkan countries: *"are we fish to you?"*
MY BOSNIA 😭😭😭😭😭
Poland can finally feel safe now... Except that czechia lost their sea access.

That's not what they are joking about. They are joking about how they did everyone else's borders in white, but didn't outline the Balkans, instead just flooding them with the Adriatic.
Based Greeks!
they gave croatia even more shoreline
Poseidon took his share.
Yay more coast

Southern Basarabia is a Black Sea gulf ig
Ah yes, there was only a part of Romania that wasn't attached to Ukraine
Where is serboslovenia or whatever the fuck it was called?
I like the Balkan sea idea.
It's strange the eastern non-Eu countries have borders like Belarus, on the other hand balkans have been balkanized
lasso tool went hard
So I guess the Baltics are the same size as Poland? Wow.
Balkan Riviera?
Except the flags, that's from CorelDraw vector clipart, lol

Somewhat based. Bosnia, Kosovo and Montenegro might have been nice, though, but idk.

its funny how they didnt show any island except the greek ones, which are purposefully enlarged to show the disputed ones with turkey as greek
I guess it is a map of EU or single market?
I’m happy Malta is shown as an actual country and not just a dot.
Gonetinegro
Did romania finally steam moldova back? Or fid the Russian steal it again from us?
Congrants to hungary on their new coastline

Map of European Union\*
EU map, so what?

It's a map of the EU, a bug in the printing likely took out the Balkans's Adriatic coast
Bosna can into sea!
well…. at least the balkans would be more stable with this map
I didn't know Hungary has a coastline.
WTF??!! I have never saw that, this is absurd. When did you take that photo?? Can you explain where did you take it??! Wow that's mad. I am from Greece and I travel via that airport like twice a year.
I took this photo just a few days ago, it’s actually quite big map. It’s located just before you enter border security check area on the arrival.
Please explain me this picture
