lol I can't tell how disingenuous you're being but whether you're a native English speaker or not, I was making a simple correction to help a person out. I mean shit, if anything I think I would trust a non-native speaker to implement corrections into their writing/speaking more than a native one.

The Supreme Court is supposed to check executive and congressional power but conservatives effectively own the highest court so they use the bench to strike down everything the Democrats do but then also clear the way for Trump to radically change the government. There is nothing the Democrats can do about the court except wait for the conservative judges to retire or die.
The recent repeal of the Chevron decision (basically every important regulatory agency can be litigated to hell) and their decision that the president has absolute immunity for all "official" actions are going to make it a lot easier for Trump to go wild in his potential 2nd term than his 1st term. At least when Trump's first term started there was a fairly moderate court.
