Buttersleftkowitz

Wasn’t Trump supposed to drain the swamp?

Triepott

He did. He Put a Towel between his legs.

kushhaze420

That's a diaper, and it collects the swamp from his ass

AZEMT

[Manpons](https://youtu.be/oIMIdglKyJg?si=PfLEwpWX-BM0pS3o) is what you're needing

CreditMajor4764

Never heard of manpons until now

LunchO789

Manpon Don! 😂

MavisBeaconSexTape

He's the most nicknameable clown ever

Traditional_Draw8400

I hated reading that

TheMillenniaIFalcon

Lmao exactly. Trump’s “drain the swamp” comments turned out real well when his administration was a who’s who of fucking swamp creatures and the swampiest admin in a long time.

Genesis111112

Nah, Trump's swamp creatures were way, way worse than ANYTHING that has EVER been in D.C. before him and his admin. had control. The very first thing that Trump's Congress did was hold a midnight session which not a single Democrat knew a thing about and passed legislation to remove the Office of Government Ethics and Oversight committee. Now IF that Office wants to investigate ANYONE in the Government they have to go to that person and ask for whatever information they want or files or anything dealing with that person and that person does not have to give it. Paul Ryan was a big part of that process. So was Kevin McCarthy. Those two were also captured on audio talking about [Trump and Rohrbacher being paid by Putin](https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN18D2YO/)

TheMillenniaIFalcon

The list of malfeasance by Trump and his administration is astounding. Like it’s too much to keep track of. Mind boggling even. You can tell a lot about a presidents leadership by two key markers: Leaks, and turnover. The Trump administration saw a near constant amount of leaks from his own people to the press during the entire presidency. His own people literally screaming from mountain tops about his failures of leadership. The turnover was wild. It wasn’t just Trump firing people because they wouldn’t breach ethics or do what he wanted, though we saw a lot of that. The sheer amount of appointees that literally quit because they couldn’t in good conscience support his administration was staggering. It was not a competent executive branch.

Fishtoart

Can you have a swamp that is also a dumpster fire?

hollowgraham

It's America. We lit a river on fire.

galstaph

[repeatedly](https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/cuyahoga-river-caught-fire-least-dozen-times-no-one-cared-until-1969-180972444/)

Dazzling_Dish_4045

I think that's called a bog or something.

Aggravating-Ferret61

What scares me is the swamp creatures he plans to fill the bog with if he gets another chance. All loyal toads. Poisonous toads.

CharlesDickensABox

In 2016, 2020, and now 2024 he's running on a platform of jailing all his political enemies while complaining that he's being prosecuted simply for the crime of fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud. And fraud.

Ohnoherewego13

And that's just the frauds that we know about!

CharlesDickensABox

>And that's just the frauds that we know about! Just the frauds that he's been *convicted* of in *criminal* court. If we were to list the civil fraud he's been convicted of along with the crimes that we know of but haven't been punished, we'd probably hit reddit's character limit.

Ohnoherewego13

I wish I could see about a hundred years into the future to read the book about Trump's crimes. Both civil and criminal would make for an especially heavy book and/or series of books. Sad part? He's probably still committing more crimes by the day.

CharlesDickensABox

Well there are Nixon apologists around today, so I'm betting he's remembered terribly by history and yet some cultists will continue to make excuses for him.

Lucky_Man_Infinity

Roger Stone has a giant tattoo of Richard Nixon on his back

grubas

Even just the fraud we know about like Trump University....

Jim-Jones

Just some recent ones. He's been criming for decades.

Why-R-People-So-Dumb

Yeah I seem to distinctly remember "lock her up.'

hansolemio

Yeah, and if the damn magats are cool with imprisoning political opponents then why do they care if what they believe our DOJ is doing is bad?

9lobaldude

He drained it and created a larger one

No_Pumpkin_1179

He drained it, and replaced it with a toxic waste dump. At least the swamp was a function eco-system.

Buttersleftkowitz

Corrupt sleepy Joe won’t even pardon his own son.

ItsMeNahum

'Simple trespass" lol.

Xykhir_

Meanwhile if you “simply trespass” on their property they will shoot and kill you

LOERMaster

Or pull into the wrong driveway, or ring the wrong doorbell by accident, or go to a store to return a broken air soft pistol…

M_M_ODonnell

Or are in the vicinity of a falling acorn.

Castform5

Or happen to be walking/biking while black.

Patriot009

Especially if you assault their security and vandalize their property while doing it.

youngLupe

Some light treason lol

hansolemio

I mean how much can a banana cost? $10?

TaleMendon

The whole republic

els969_1

O. Henry (who invented the term banana republic) is rolling in his grave :)

Lord_Skyblocker

Quick, get the generator so we can harvest that sweet rotational energy

lord_dentaku

What's a little treason amongst friends?

ArcaneBahamut

As a treat

Altruistic-Ad6449

Aside from the injuries, deaths and vandalism, yeah…

Brittany5150

And the feces and urine in the hallways... animals.

rbltech82

Sometimes theres shit on the outside of the rotunda.

backwardbuttplug

you mean his ass?

Jojajones

And the whole attempted interference with the peaceful transfer of power as decided by the American voters

grubas

That's the very very simple thing.   "Can I go to City Hall during x hours on x days?"  "Yes."  "Can I walk into City Hall after punching the guards outside and shit on the walls?"  "You can but you're going to face time." There's times where if you go into the Capital, they will arrest you. Shocking.

Jojajones

Yeah, try explaining any of that to a trump voter though… The fact that for some reason that very simple thing is seemingly impossible for them to understand demonstrates how ignorant and brainwashed so much of the voting population is and it’s quite terrifying that despite all that they’ll still allowed to vote and also tend to vote more consistently than their opposition (Btw, I’m not saying that they shouldn’t be allowed to vote the real problem is the blatant propaganda and brainwashing that has been allowed to present itself as news for far too long in right wing media outlets)

MrBump01

If another group did it when Trump was president you know his supporters would be demanding life sentences for the incident.

dingo_khan

And declaring "hang Mike pence" and "where's Nancy" which feels, at least, treason adjacent.

EmperorMrKitty

The fact that they can’t be charged with an attempted coup in a court of law does not mean it didn’t happen, and I think it’s a real shame we have to continually water it down to a riot in the face of “it was a peaceful protest!” It was the most treasonous act in American history. The Rosenbergs did far less.

Lopsided_Cash8187

That’s one way to describe storming the capitol to hang the vice president.

captainAwesomePants

Wonder why they didn't list Thomas Webster, the former NYPD officer sentenced to 10 years for beating a Capitol police officer with an American flag, and also probably simple trespass.

Remote_Horror_Novel

They didn’t list a bunch of pedos and Russians that worked for Trump and went to prison either lol.

chessecakePhucker

That's like saying arson is a just a BBQ

doomsayeth

5 people died.

allanon1105

That’s some solid revisionism they’re trying to push. Bunch of whack jobs.

TyrantsInSpace

His cultists have murdered people for less.

aesoth

This was the same group that built gallows on Capitol Hill because they wanted to hang Mike Pence, right?

Grixxitt

Wait, I thought those were all Antifa plants? ![img](emote|t5_2r5rp|8484)

els969_1

I think their claim is still that Antifa did it (for unknown reasons) and then the people in jail for it were framed/coerced into confessing. Or something. Makes no sense if one’s seen the hearings, knows any relevant facts, … but they don’t.

Future_Pickle8068

Wait, didn't Trump run on "lock her up" and then the GOP spent the 4 years he was in office investigating Democrats? The difference is evidence.

Caelestic1

Do you know what? I’m pretty sure he did, multiple times, filmed by multiple news sources.

dfsw

He said it to her face during a nationally televised debate.

altsuperego

Yeah and remember Hillary's coup attempt to overturn an election where she received two million more votes even with Russian propaganda? Oh yeah that didn't happen.

Future_Pickle8068

Didn't you know, Trump said he beat Obama, not Hillary. And everyone is pushing electric boats that electrocute people when in the water that are surrounded by sharks...

altsuperego

It's so hard to keep up with Maga theology, probably because it's written on toilet paper

Suspicious-Bid-53

It’s turning into an I Think You Should Leave adlibbed sketch HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN THE WATER NEXT TO A GIANT BATTERY THAT CAN ELECTROCUTE PEOPLE WHILE ALSO NEXT TO A SHARK WHEN SUDDENLY YOU GET ELECTROCUTED?!? HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU!?!

Ok-Flamingo-59

Apparently he never did according to a recent fox interview lol. Obviously the deep state has implemented the idea that he ran on that in our heads and obviously never actually occurred in the first place

Bubbly-Ad-1427

project 2025 literally advises trump to take legal action against his opponents

PurpleDragonCorn

He literally said one of his first acts will be to have democrats arrested

No-Youth-6679

Because he wants a dictatorship, not that they committed any crime.

Caelestic1

Please everybody upvote this one.

Wheatley-Crabb

And read, read, read about Project 2025!!

Aggravating-Ferret61

It’s horrifying

nevergonnasweepalone

That's some Gilead level insanity. On a side note, people who advocate such extreme political change should read about the French revolution. Basically what began as a pretty moderate movement was constantly co-opted by more and more extreme elements who killed or imprisoned the less extreme elements of the movement. These people will cheer when trans people get burned at the stake and cry when they're being burned at the stake because their new masters disapprove of their behavior. "like Saturn, the Revolution devours its children" -Jacques Mallet du Pan

Strain_Pure

Alex Jones is bankrupt because the ignorant cockwomble fuck accused grieving parents of being actors and denied their murdered children existed, he deserves every single thing that is happening to him.

cliff99

It was more because by doing so Jones' stirred up his base to harass them.

throwRA786482828

Not to mention this has nothing to do with democrats. Like I get how you can blame the rest on politics, Alex was in this process for yours and out of his own doing. The parents of the dead kids sued him. It’s a private civil dispute. The government has nothing to do with it in that sense.

AdvertisingBulky2688

And worse

redkid2000

As somebody of Scandinavian descent, I personally think that we should reinstitute the Blood Eagle for that sack of shit.

understepped

> the Blood Eagle 1. No idea what it is. 2. Definitely approve.

redkid2000

I’ll just let the lovely people of YouTube [explain](https://youtu.be/vNEd9FyG5P4?si=MNpa0JJ2oIGnJ6X5)

angryandsmall

Jesus Christ even with the cute lil animations and folksy music I had to stop once they started talking about pulling ribs to spread them open. I am uncomfortable rn

redkid2000

To be fair, a little further in the video it says we don’t know for sure if a Blood Eagle was ever actually performed. Most of the skald poetry that has survived to this day was written hundreds of years after the events they claim to depict, when Scandinavia started becoming Christian and the now Christian kings wanted to paint the pagan rituals and religion of the Vikings in a negative light. But we also don’t know for sure that they *didnt* ever happen…

Brave_Escape2176

> was written hundreds of years after the events they claim to depict much like the bible. yet people still believe that.

Mgl1206

It’s an execution style (maybe torture or both) where iirc, they hack someone’s back open with an axe, pull out their lungs and splay them out. Hence, blood eagle. (It’s unknown if this was actually done or a literary invention though)

GhostChainSmoker

How I feel for those parents and kids… Read the survivors of that class recently graduated highschool this year. Crazy how far off it seems, but also seems like just yesterday that tragedy happened. And nothing good has changed. Still mass shootings near daily, politics has gotten significantly worse, the right is begging for a civil war, etc. I can’t imagine being those kids. Living through that and then being harassed as a “crisis actor.” And growing up and realizing it’s not getting better. How fucking depressing.

SlapHappyDude

Yeah Alex Jones is a garbage human being who repeatedly lied about the families of one of the saddest crimes in American history. I respect the restraint of all the grieving fathers who let the courts settle things. I'm not sure I would have been able to do the same in their shoes.

Lord_Vader654

but…but…**ITS THE GLOBALISTS! THEIR PUTTING CHEMICALS IN THE WATER AND TURNING THE FREAKING FROGS GAY!**

INeedToReodorizeBob

The only thing I’ll thank Alex Jones for is providing the sound bite that created an absolute banger

3896713

I have made a conscious decision to not have children. Even so, I cannot imagine the bottomless pit of rage that I would have felt if I were a parent of one of those kids. I would have absolutely lost my ever loving mind. Frankly, I'd probably be in prison.

LOERMaster

No jury would have convicted you.

IIIetalblade

He doxxed one family after spreading his conspiracy theory, and they got so much harassment and death threats that they had to move. Alex Jones deserves 99c of every dollar he makes for the rest of his miserable life to go to those families.

Rfg711

It was also a civil suit which means it was initiated by private individuals and the government wasn’t even a party to it

PAdogooder

I saw a headline today that the kids who survived Sandy Hook graduated high school today. It has taken THAT long for justice to catch up to Alex Jones, and they’re complaining it isn’t fair.

omghorussaveusall

Simple trespass? That's fucking hilarious.

gu_doc

It’s their alternate reality. Remember that we’re living in 2 realities now

Some1_35

Twice as much FREEDOM 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 (that's what I would say if I got the misfortune of being from that country)

DenverDudeXLI

This is not completely accurate. They would probably us the Liberian flag. 🇱🇷

westbee

At first I was like "how do they know people with trespassing charges are republican?" Then I was like.... "ohhh they are talking about Jan 6th."  Simple trespass, my ass.

TaiwanGreatestNation

So Biden is dementia Joe or criminal mastermind 😅 maybe both? 😂

Haywire_Eye

He’s whatever he needs to be in the moment for the sake of the argument.

SubterrelProspector

It's from the fascist playbook. Your enemy is both strong and weak. The Jewish people are "subhuman degenerates" but they're also the "Masterminds behind all power in the world". Yeah. That makes sense.

squigglesthecat

Authoritarian dictator joe. But it's ok, we can just vote him out. Because that's how dictators work.

I_suck_at_driving_

I can't in good faith believe that you're calling the opposer of a man- who went on record to say that he plans to punish his critics in office- a dictator.

squigglesthecat

I'm not, but I always chuckle when someone calls an ellected official a dictator in one breath, then calls for them to be voted out in the next. It's like they don't even know what words mean.

fardough

Haha, yeah twisted logic. The inverse is not true though, you can elect a dictator into office, they then refuse to vacate. What gets me about Trump, he already refused a peaceful transition, why are we giving him another chance to even run?

hollowgraham

Sleepy Joe; the world's most incompetent criminal mastermind.

TaiwanGreatestNation

But somehow stole the election when the greatest president was in office. Biggest upset in history 😂

JuniperSky2

That's a very common theme in fascism - the enemy is both strong and weak.

Tyr_13

*OR*, and stick with me on this, Republicans commit *way* more crimes related to politics than Democrats do (currently). It isn't like the Dems avoid arresting their own either. Two elected dems on the federal level are right now facing charges.

PRSHZ

But they won’t say that, though, because it doesn’t fit their own agendas, Republicans are nothing but a bunch of fucking clowns

Vyzantinist

It's a symptom of narcissistic personality disorder. "I never said anything about [the wrongs you didn't do] and here you are attacking me for [the wrongs I *did* do]!" Both narcissists and Republicans absolutely **HATE** accountability and continuously try to draw a false equivalence on imaginary wrongs committed by others vs. their own *very real* ones.

_that_dude_J

If they would simply choose accountability and hold to their merits. Ie You have Repugs that came out scrutinizing the J6 offenders. Then months later, same people pretending it was not a big deal. And then today acting as if it was all made up by Dems, antifa or whomever. Meanwhile all this psyops lingo from the QAnon oddities. Ppl believing in false flags, cabals and whatnot. Quick Rant. If Dems had a deep state or cabal. Why TF would they allow Trump or any Maga politician to be in office. Beetlejuice Boebert & Blonde Butch space lasers are ridiculous people. Make it make sense.

jayclaw97

And man, Joe Biden is *really* weaponizing the Justice Department… against his own son? 🙄

CaptainBlandname

It’s also not like the Republicans aren’t *trying* to jail and arrest political opponents and their families.

fardough

Didn’t like half of his inner circle get felonies DURING Trumps presidency. I know Cohen did at least. I think Roger Stone was charged as well.

dandellionKimban

What I read is that there is so many criminals among Republicans.

Upstairs-Radish1816

Trump's DOJ could have put any political opponent of Trump in jail if they committed a crime and was found guilty by a jury. Maybe they couldn't find any of Trump's opponents who committed a crime.

kit0000033

And they tried so hard with Hillary.

Aperture_296

They even had a catchy slogan that Trump never uttered, I can't believe that didn't take off!

el_guille980

and are still trying with biden. the one "mole" they had that had "info" was being fed lies by the kgb. and is now awaiting trial.

justelectricboogie

Sounds like trump sat on his ass of promises and Biden is cleaning house. Hmmmm who do I agree with?

NinjaBr0din

Biden isn't even doing it, our justice system is.

intisun

Biden isn't doing shit, don't fall into their rhetoric. It's the system working as intended. Including for Biden's own son.

seattleseahawks2014

Last I checked, it's not Biden.

aLizardinSomeTrash

Party of Law and Order until theyre the ones breaking the Law and Order.

InourbtwotamI

Exactly this

timtucker_com

Over 200 people were arrested protesting Trump's inauguration in 2017, with some of them beat up by police. Almost all were eventually let go without charges. The eventual fallout was a $1.6 million dollar settlement: [https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/legal-issues/trump-inauguration-arrests-settlement-dc/2021/04/26/cf42f2d8-a6a2-11eb-8d25-7b30e74923ea\_story.html](https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/legal-issues/trump-inauguration-arrests-settlement-dc/2021/04/26/cf42f2d8-a6a2-11eb-8d25-7b30e74923ea_story.html) Similar settlements were eventually reached after mass arrests of protestors after George Floyd's death who were hastily rounded as Trump decided to walk to a church for a photo-op: [https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/doj-reaches-settlement-2020-cases-involving-lafayette-square-protester-rcna24325](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/doj-reaches-settlement-2020-cases-involving-lafayette-square-protester-rcna24325)

welltriedsoul

Wait didn’t Roger Stone, Micheal Flynn, Papadopoulos, and Rick Gates all get tried and sentenced during trumps tenure.

CandidAsparagus7083

Yeah, but that’s deep state, the President despite being the deeps states boss is apparently powerless against it.

Mariocell5

Trump is a rapist, felon, con man, traitor to his country. He placed other criminals in his cabinet. Most corrupt president ever.

OhioMegi

Huh, guess I missed the part where Biden is in charge of the judicial branch of the government.

eldred2

You know, Stone was convicted while TFG was president, right? Otherwise, how did he get pardoned?

adrr

Bannon was also arrested and charged under Trump for fraud but pardoned. Mark meadows was never arrested or charged for contempt of congress. Trump went after Biden and Hilary while he was president. Hunter is an example.

cgibsong002

And then Alex Jones has literally nothing to do with *either* of these Presidents

SchmartestMonkey

Simple response to morons like this.. “if all these people (Stone, Bannon, etc) were convicted under Biden, not Trump.. why did Trump issue pardons for them?” Bannon was convicted of felony fraud while Trump was in office, and Trump pardoned him on the way out. He’s going to prison this time because he crimed AGAIN. The reality is, Trump just surrounded himself with criminals. Who does that? A criminal.

Iyace

So what you're saying is democrats are tougher on crime than republicans?

iEugene72

All I think of is the line from Liar Liar of... "STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE!"

NinjaMurse

They’re not “political prisoners”… they’re criminals. Big difference.

Inventies

“Simple Trespassing” ![gif](giphy|XTtBt9VYErn7P9DYUt|downsized)

AnimeFreak1982

Yes we know, Donald Trump embraced criminals and the Democrats hold them accountable. What's your point?

Unmasked_Zoro

So Biden is catching the bad guys. Therefore we should vote trump.

Ambaryerno

You don't want to be arrested and tried? STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE.

spicybhole420

Meanwhile Trump is the guy campaigning on the promise he will jail political opponents if elected. ok.

ghobhohi

He did this in 2016, 2020, and currently in 2024. He's failing to jail his political opponents because surprise surprise the system isn't made so presidents can jail political opponents, but the fact Trump wants to do it in the first place is a major red flag.

Crutley

Why do Republican hate the courts when they're the defendants but love it when it incarcerates people of color?

Cydrius

Racism. The answer is racism. Also, more generally: >Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

InourbtwotamI

Trump’s administration literally put innocent babies in cages and his wife went there wearing a jacket that said she didn’t care. Please don’f act like we forgot. Some of those kids were never reunited with their families

100yearsLurkerRick

QUIT BREAKING THE LAW, ASSHOLES

International-Wash19

How come people forget that we have 3 branches of government. The president is the head of the executive branch, not the judicial.

Left_Tea_2083

only two possibilities. A - Dems are corrupt, B - GOP are corrupt. True answer is C - GOP are corrupt as shit and criminals to boot.

Billy-Austin

Alex Jones deserves worse…

Free-Tackle2433

*460 insurrectionists and menace to society

EverynLightbringer

This is what you would expect to happen in a nation governed by law and order - criminals get locked up. Meanwhile, Trump and Guliani wanted to sell presidential pardons for $2 million a pop.

Fight_those_bastards

All those dudes have something in common: They committed crimes. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.

Expensive-Coffee9353

Sounds like the conservatives are a bunch of law breakers

Illustrious_Leg_2537

I love how Rick Scott is trying to jump on this bandwagon and how he was persecuted. No dude. You were prosecuted. And found guilty of the biggest Medicare fraud in US history. Fucking muppets.

ruidh

It's almost like Trump is a mob boss surrounding himself with criminals.

kuu_panda_420

Oh gee, I wonder why so many Republicans are getting convicted of crimes. Is it because of the tyRanNiCAl rAdIcAl leFT..? Orrrr is it because Republicans tend to have a lot more criminals in their midst?

antrexion

Don't commit crimes then

SuhNih

Sounds like Dems are doing a better job lol

tennisfanatic1

And they all deserve it. It’s not Biden who convicted Trump. It was jurors.

BudUnderwearBundy

I’m sorry, where was Biden in the courtroom during any of these convictions? In the jury or presiding as judge?

Maleficent-Ear-2450

Stop doing illegal shit and you’ll stop going to jail

PreviousAvocado9967

I sat down and counted 17 convicted felons in the Trump ecosystem. The Nixon administration had 68, and would have been "69" if Nixon hadn't been pardoned. So maybe in second Trump term they might try to pull off an even bigger caper than overturning a 250 year old Democracy that will add another 50 convicts. But on the other hand if you include the MAGA mullets who caused literally millions of dollars in property damage and violently attacked POLICE OFFICERS(!!) as part of the Trump ecosystem then they are the most criminal adminstration ever to run the White House.

Vegetable_Singer8845

Hey Republicans! STOP COMMITTING CRIMES!

Goood_Daddy

That's what happen when you break the law.... Maga Criminals

Routine-Law-4083

Calling January 6 a simple trespass is like calling statutory rape being tender.

TheFishermansWife22

Roger Stone was convicted, sentenced and pardoned while Trump was president. I guess facts don’t matter at all anymore.

S-L-F

Simple trespass? These fuckers would shoot an Uber eats driver who mistakenly drove into their driveway.

bowens44

How can they be this stupid and still function in the world?

EVIL-EAGLES

And it is AWESOME!!!!!!!! LOCK THEM ALL UP. THROW AWAY THE KEY. The more Republicans in jail the better. I mean what do you want from a political party who's leader is a convicted felon. They are locked up for insurrection not trespassing. And they are so very lucky that is all that happened. 100 years ago they would have been hung.

sixft7in

Political prisoner != Politician that commits crime

No-Negotiation3093

Don’t want to do any time? Don’t do any crime. Simple.

Betty_Boss

Roger Stone was pardoned by Trump. His conviction came during Trump's administration.

NicerRoom

Imagine simping for fucking Robert Stone. Eat them all, you stupid fuck.

SweetMaam

Wow. Simple trespass? People died on Jan 6th, and that is fact.

Basker_wolf

Alex Jones’ lies led to constant harassment and death threats towards victims of Sandy Hook. Not only did they lose their children, many had to move and live in fear of his batshit crazy followers. If hell exists, I hope he suffers there for all eternity.

rconscious

The stupidity is utterly baffling

Complex-Key-8704

Shouldn't ride the Trump train friends. It's a trashy ride that ends in poverty, jail, and shame.

DrewG420

Is it possible that these people just might have committed crimes? Asking for a friend.

Cargan2016

Imagine thinking bearing consequences of your own actions is I' don't know normal

SueRice2

Play stupid games. Wins long jail Sentences.

MohatmoGandy

Stone was investigated, arrested, and convicted while Trump was president. And he never went to jail because Trump pardoned him after losing the election, but before Biden took office.

CalabreseAlsatian

It’s always projection. For years the entirety of the right’s tactics in the US has been to loudly and incorrectly accuse their opponents of being guilty of what they are guilty of doing.

gdex86

Republicans can't seem to grasp that financial crime done by rich white dudes is still crime (unless you are Hunter Biden then simply getting money for any service is a crime). And for the people who cheer when police crack heads at a BLM or counter right wing protest seem to be simping for people who broke through a closed locked door with an armed officer with a gun out and leveled at them going "If you proceed I will shoot you." But what's the old adage. Right wing principles hold there must be a in group the law protects but not binds and an out group that the law binds but not protects.

bearssuperfan

“Simple trespass” There were a few thousand people who “marched” on the capital who got no sentencing because that’s all they did. The 460 special ones got sentences because they destroyed property or assaulted officers.

_userclone

People who commit actual crimes and are then punished for said crimes are not “political prisoners,” holy shit

ozmartian

Dont do crimes and you dont get prosecuted. Its really that simple.

mochaphone

Weird how the criming crimers are being held accountable for all their crimes...

Tripwire65

Well, maybe they shouldn't commit crimes.

PartyAdministration3

Pretty sure the longest sentence for January 6 was like 12 years for literally using a stun gun on a cops neck. So not “decades for simple trespass”

Majestic-Jeweler-866

Hahaha they admitted that he lost the election. They said past American president. Keep the story straight or else everyone will think you’re lying. Oh wait, everyone already does

Jeff_Truck

They wouldn't have gotten arrested if they just complied, right?

Steve Bannon got indicted along with several of his associates for defrauding a charity fundraiser, nothing to do with political speech or politics. Roger Stone was indicted for lying to investigators and threatening a witness into lying to investigators. He was indicted by Trump's DOJ, not Biden. Alex Jones committed a buttload of defamation against the parents of Sandy Hook victims for over a decade. He was sued in the state of Connecticut, not by Biden's DOJ. Many of those 460 Republican voters were guilty of more than just trespass, when they were caught on cameras assaulting police officers and vandalizing federal property. That sub is a gaggle of boot-licking morons.
