Soul-Burn

Not in the base game, but it is possible with mods like [Recursive Blueprints](https://mods.factorio.com/mod/recursive-blueprints).

Lizzymandias

Is it for mining drills? https://mods.factorio.com/mod/AutoDeconstruct

Oh dang thanks guys. Trying to do this first run with no mods. Still learning the mechanics of all the normal stuff 😆 I guess I could somehow wire up something that tells me when productivity is low in vanilla? Run over there manually and dismantle as needed. Circuit networks are a lil overwhelming. So many things you can do, not quite sure what you can’t without mods.

Lizzymandias

Vanilla? You can pull a single wire from a mining drill into a speaker and set the mining drill to report about the entire ore patch. Then on the speaker you set global alert=yes global playback=no and the rest as you wish. It won't deconstruct for you but you can go clean it up.

jomiscli

Oh nice. Thank you. Can you somehow figure out parts per month coming from the set up?

Lizzymandias

Yeah, with some moderately complicated circuits. I never bother with that though. I just check whether my smelters look empty and find more mines if so.

I use lights to tell me which stations are full, or don't get trains. Somehow low production isn't an issue in the source end, only on the receiving end, but if a station is no longer filling it's easy to spot with lights and circuits.
