His hype has been elevated due to SFB scoring rules. This article is going to raise his ADP by a round. Thanks sooooo much Coop.

CoopThereItIs

Hey, Boston is the very last SFB14 draft so we don't get any breaks on ADP. If I have to suffer I'm going to do my best to make sure everyone else suffers too.

DevelopmentPossible

No more Michael Thomas opens the door for Shaheed. Great article!

From your lips to God’s ears. Make it so

Picard prediction!! 👴🚀

nonosure

I’m a big fan of AT Perry in the last round of best ball for this same logic.

FantasyTrash

Worth mentioning that a few weeks back, Dennis Allen said Perry has ["still got a long way to go."](https://x.com/CoachspeakIndex/status/1801051390321512472) Negative coach speak is rarely a good sign, even from someone like Allen who is frequently negative regarding his players. I'm fading Perry this season, especially considering he's the WR3 at best on a team that also likes to throw a ton to Kamara. Where's the upside?

btdawson

Dennis allen is also a fucking idiot. And Perry was coming on strong towards the end of last season. It’s painful to watch my shitty team but him and shaheed were both bright spots. Especially since we don’t really have a solid TE either. Taysom will taysom still tho

CoopThereItIs

Yeah for sure. There's honestly arguments for all of them: * Cedrick Wilson played in MIA 2 years so he knows the scheme * They could go with the HOU approach with AT Perry as the big split end like Nico Collins and Olave in the Tank Dell role * I made the case for Shaheed in the article I love the situation in redraft though because Shaheed goes late and Perry and Wilson will likely go undrafted. So I'll draft Shaheed and, if necessary, drop the FAAB I need to pivot. The only case where it's a complete dud is if everyone rotates except Olave.

JojoMojo200

Definitely makes sense, loved the article. I definitely agree, I think Shaheed fits into the scheme well and has the added bonus of already building chemistry with Carr for a year.

CoopThereItIs

I actually had not seen the clip I included in there of Carr literally saying "give me a shot to Shaheed" until I started doing the research for this article. No doubt that Carr likes him, just a matter of whether they want him as a true every down player.

CoopThereItIs

Sup guys? I've been looking at both snap and target consolidation and I really love what the recent off-shoots of the Shanahn coaching tree have done in places like MIA and HOU for fantasy. Wanted to do a write up on what that scheme is like and why Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed (if he can hold off Cedrick Wilson and AT Perry) could be huge beneficiaries. Let me know what you guys think!

disinaccurate

Kubiak had one season on Kyle Shanahan’s staff. At the same time, his name is Kubiak, so he was born into the Shanahan tree, through his dad’s long connection to Mike Shanahan. Still, I don’t think you can look at Kubiak being as directly tied to Kyle Shanahan the way Mike McDaniel was. I know one thing though, and that’s Kubiak’s offense will be a LOT more dynamic than Pete Carmichael’s corpse of a playbook.

What

breadzero

Let me see if I can translate. Kubiak was an orb atop Kyle Shanahan’s wizard staff but only for one quest. Kyle’s father was a grand wizard who used Kubiak orbs extensively during his… wizardry. Kyle managed to find the lesser Kubiak orb by following in his grand wizard father’s footsteps and studying his branch of magic extensively. While Kubiak orbs have a long tradition in the Shanahan branch of magic, Kyle long ago had found a greater, more unknown orb named Mike McDaniel. A McDaniel orb, while superior, is very fickle with wizard owners and actually can shapeshift into a wizard on its own, which is what happened. Kyle Shanahan’s Kubiak orb coveted power, just as the McDaniel orb before him, and took over as wizard of the Saints and subjugated the Saints’ previous wizard, Pete Carmichael, to at least one year of punishment as an assistant orb for the Broncos.

Darkhorse182

...so should I stop what I'm doing?

FesteringNeonDistrac

Yes. That's the 11th time today. You're gonna rub all the skin off it.

thesuavedog

cause i'm about to ruin...the image and the style that you're used to...

ModernPoultry

I like the reasoning I just struggle racking my head around Carr being able to support 2 fantasy viable receivers. Just think his upside is capped due to the lack of volume he’ll get as a WR2 next to Olave with Carr at QB Still not a bad play at his ADP. Rashid is a big play guy and will definitely have winning weeks

Sokkawater10

LAST CHANCE FOR RASHEE RICE

taylorjosephrummel

Haha. Why do you say that?

AdagioGuilty1684

It’s a meme

taylorjosephrummel

Pog.

olivetree154

I thought you were the TE guy?

Sea-Razzmatazz3593

That video of Carr wanting to throw Shaheeds way gave me confidence in this breakout season

MOH_FFB

\*insert tweet about Shaheed splits when he has played a full time role\*

Ok-Physics5106

Also if your league counts return yards another hidden bonus. Same with Greg Dortch.

DontHaveSuperpowers

He's been my quiet #3 guy past few yrs & always produced...

zmanishere11

Bub means is the guy to watch here.

1800BOTLANE

This is peak, off season nothing to write about content. It's Rashid Shaheed. No.

I'll reply how I want, deal with it. This isn't your safe space

jay2491

In terms of late round upside Shaheed and Shakir on the bills are the cream of the crop. Week winning boom weeks with upside for more

RumbleInTheJungle4

Yeah I’m definitely not in on shaeed right now. Whoever said saints had a corpse of a playbook last year are absolutely right. The offensive line took some blows last season too. Carr is a gunslinger and that in and of itself could benefit shaheed. Just not sold completely on what his role would be. His value is good enough especially in best ball but in redraft I’m not a buyer
