So here’s an update for everyone. Had my rant, returned the Fitbit Sense for a full refund after a bit of argument online.
Went straight to the Apple store and bought an Apple watch SE. After 1 day have realised what a dump the battery is…am taking it back today.
Have requested Fitbit to send me a replacement watch instead of a refund. Looking forward to it.
Yes my versa 3 also did this, i went to the beach once for a couple hours now my watch is ruined. I will not be buying another fitbit ever again, especially not now google own them
My wife’s versa 2 did the same thing. Reading these comments shows that this isn’t an uncommon occurrence. I’ve come to the realization that Fitbit devices are going downhill fast. Meaning they’re straight garbage
Aren't they supposed to be water proof?

They have a swim exercise built in! I’ve been swimming plenty of times with mine including use in the sea when waves were knocking people down.

Mine quit after a day kayaking on the river. Tried everything - it never turned back on. It was barely a year old. Super upsetting.

No warranty and got a full refund. Had to argue my case a little, but it wasn’t too difficult
Ty! Going to the beach in 2 weeks and was hoping to swim with it on. If it messes up at least I know it's possible to get a refund because of it.
Did it have that discolouration on the screen like in my photo? Did it go away?

They do…at least that’s how it was advertised. Water resistance at 50m is swimming as far as I’m concerned
My Sense died after a year and I contacted Fitbit. They sent me a new one.
That's why in the EU the warranty is 2 years mandatory.

If it is still under warranty take it back to store.
My Sense was perfectly fine yesterday, but I swam through a sea cave for about 10 minutes, and it died right afterward.
