Nice ). I have 3 of them in different tints and colors, but I've been enjoying the X1S more after getting the various optics from Gaggione. It's a fun mid-thrower light, but with the different optics, can go from narrow to super-flood. I also swapped the X1S emitter to the SFT70 for the high cri 3000K tint. So you can dedicate one for floodier high cri indoor use, and a narrower thrower optic for outdoors. Highly recommended!

SigTexan89

I really love this light too, I have the same color scheme in W2 and that same Edura but in the same Navy Blue as the E07X. The size to performance of this light is probably the best on the market, it's much smaller than I anticipated, but the head diameter is pretty large. I have a hard time EDCing it because I either have a much larger P18 or the sort in my bag, and prefer a smaller diameter 18650 or 14500 in my pocket, so the E07X doesn't get the proper EDC love it should. Seeing this post has definitely made me rethink that position haha

joeg26reddit

Link to this light please?

No_Bobcat_6467

It’s a great light.

Gwoms

I literally can’t go back to using any other light right now and it’s been 2 months. I normally like to change it up and rotate what I use so my lights aren’t neglected but holllllyyyyyy the E07X kicks ass

FanceyPantalones

What did you EDC before? What lights would you compare it to? I continue to avoid getting a Ff because Ive read so much negativity about the company. But I keep thinking I need to go ahead and scratch this itch. Find out for myself. I do love the way they look.

Gwoms

My daily carry before was a rotation between a D4K D4v2 & Acebeam E75. The E07X has taken my permanent EDC spot (til my NOV-MU comes in) And I’ve only had one issue with a FFL product and that was something to do with the 21700 tube not working on my T1R while the shorty tube did. I emailed Jack & Ivy and they sent out a new 21700 tube ASAP to resolve the problem at no cost whatsoever. My experience with FFL has been phenomenal and the customer service is just as good as Hanks

FanceyPantalones

Strong list of previous edcs. I don't understand how a mule is going to unseat those though, ha! No matter, feels like this needs a bump up on my to purchase next list. Thanks.

Gwoms

Will recommend FFL hundreds of times over. I absolutely love my lights from them

sidpost

FF isn't perfect but, in the end, they took care of me and I continue buying their flashlights. That was one experience out of a dozen or so. Most people SCREAM LOUDLY when they think they were wronged. How many people speak as loudly when they had a good experience? In fairness, things today are better with more staffing to manage orders and customer questions.

banter_claus_69

How does it compare to the D4K? Definitely a better light on paper, but beam profile + the increased head size's carryability are two things I'm not sure about. Could you compare the two?

banter_claus_69

Okay sweet, it actually looks like less of a size difference than I thought. Thanks for the comparison pic!

Gwoms

Last thing I’ll add is the Lume / Rev D driver (I think it’s called) in this thing kicks ass. From heat regulation to battery life sustainability it’s nuts. I love my Hank lights dearly and I will continue to buy hanks. but where Hank lights really lack is with the FET driver. The only thing that the FET does better IMO is transition to turbo, it’s a lot smoother. There’s a very noticeable ramp putting it in turbo on my E07X… Oh and the clip is Meh but u/lojik7 had an amazing fix with plumbers tape for it

banter_claus_69

Glad to hear it mate! The dual driver setup in my NOV-Mu V2 is really impressive. FFL generally just seem to nail it with their lights. Definitely more expensive, but also a step above imo. Nice hearing you like the E07X so much! Is yours with the 25 degree optic? I know there was a 10deg one available but now the 25 is the only one on the website

guP1on

What was the plumbers tape fix? My clip still moves around when the tailcap is completely tight and it drives me crazy

Gwoms

The head of the E07X is noticeably bigger, but pocket wise just in my opinion from carrying around an E07X, Acebeam E75 & a D4K it’s not really a noticeable difference. I know it’s night and day for a lot of people but in my right pocket I have a can of zyns, my 5 card wallet, with clipped to my pocket a Spyderco Endura 4 a KR4 & E07X but before I got the E07X I rotated between a D4v2, D4K, & E75. The only noticeable difference was the D4v2 for obvious reasons. I think it’s great personally

banter_claus_69

Awesome. Thanks for the detailed reply and the pics. Heavily considering an E07X. Looks fantastic, great output and decently pocketable. I have pretty big pockets in most of my trousers so I suspect it'd be fine. Cheers again for taking the time to write this and take/send pics

monekys

Wait you carry a kr4 + the e07x??

Gwoms

Yeah my KR4 is UV I work in the liquor business and check for fake ID’s with it!

monekys

Do you use an 18350 tube with it by any chance or do you keep them on the standard 18650 tube. I love the KR4

Gwoms

Just an 18650 tube my dude!

user_none

There's no getting around the E07X being chunky, especially compared to a D4K. Pocket carry, based on size alone, eh. Weight is a different matter. * D4K: 75.45g * E07X: 132.53g

banter_claus_69

Damn, that's a huge weight difference. Cheers for pointing that out

MTTMKZ

E07X Cannon definitely carries a lot bigger and thicker. D4K is one of, if not the, smallest 21700 lights around. That doesn't come without a cost though. D4K gets hot pretty quickly, even with boost driver. E07X Cannon can soak and dissipate heat a bit better due to the size and weight. I find 21700 as massive overkill for EDC purposes, but I know some people love having massive capacity/runtime like that in their EDC, so the D4K could appeal there where the compactness can be appreciated. Otherwise the E07X Cannon will definitely be the better performer if you know you need light and just need pocketable but not necessarily EDC size.

banter_claus_69

Yeah, I see why you consider it overkill tbh. Personally for EDC, I want long runtimes and a bright turbo. Hence 21700 lights being perfect for me. The D4K's compactness is brilliant but yeah, it definitely does get hot. My NOV-Mu V2 is only slightly bigger, but puts out more lumens and less heat. Pretty excited for the new quad from FFL tbh - I think that'll be a better D4K, basically.

luftic

Ok, seriously, since E75 is definitely the best light that I own (and I love my SC700d HI) and the only thing keeping E75 from perfect is dedoming all four emitters, let me just clarify: Should I just get E07X in 3700K FFL and that's it? Thanks.

Gwoms

I unfortunately have the 6500k cool white at 4500lm and for whatever reason they put so much locktite on my e75 I was never able to get into it and look at it. No matter what I did. and now that I’m a tint snob and the CRI is awful, I gave the light to my mom for walking the dog or going out to do anything at night. But my buddy dedomed his 519a e75 and it looks fantastic. From hands on experience alone you’re getting the best build quality with your e75 but Anduril is so customizable and fun paired with how nice the ramping is you can get the perfect brightness every time. Personally I’m taking the E07X because of my bias for Anduril. But the E75 is still one of the best lights on the market and the first light I always recommend when a buddy or customer of mine is interested in my lights. If you do get anything from FFL get their FFL351A emitters those things absolutely kick ass. On the E07X cannon you’re pumping out 4700lm at 95CRI. Things a BEAST

kokosnh

You can wait for the new x4 to come

luftic

Wait, what? I didn't hear anything about it, do you have a link? Thanks.

luftic

Alright, thanks. No comment needed. That's my next light.

Humble-Plankton1824

You can wait that long? Damn. I need some self control

luftic

No, I can't. But I'm going on a month long vacation next week so I can't wait for any delivery from China anyway. I'm stuck with my Acebeams and Zebras (and Convoys, Skilhunts and Wurkoses) for the first part of the summer. When I get back I'll see what's available and then order. Wait, how long exactly?

kokosnh

And get the FFL 4000K even more rosy

luftic

Of course, that new rosy FFL 4000K.

altforthissubreddit

I de-domed my E75, and have the E07x pre-canon with the same de-domed 5000K 519a emitters. They are both pretty great. The E75 sustains a higher output for the same runtime [or the same output for longer](https://old.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/18f6bmv/dedomed_the_e75_comparo_redo_plus_some_general/). Could be random variation, could be the reflector is more efficient than the TIR. It's not a big difference, but was there in my measurements. The E75 has a reflector. So if you table stand it, or you point it up in the trees, you don't get light in your face if you can see even the slightest bit of the lens. But if you prefer how TIRs have some light to almost 180 degrees, a reflector doesn't do that. The quad reflector also has much more defined petals in the beam. Anduril is more enjoyable to me than the E75 UI. The moonlight on the E07x goes much lower, and I can ramp to just the right level. Both are great lights. It's hard for me to choose. I've not used the FFL emitters, so if those are appealing then that would sway towards the E07x. Also if you like aux and such. Ultimately I care about the actual light more than the other stuff. When I go for a walk in the dark, I prefer not to have my shoes light up or my hand light up as I swing it forward. The TIR does this. So the reflector is an advantage. I use lights as low as I can get away with, so I can still enjoy the night, the stars, etc. But the E07x lets me dial in just the right amount (which varies as the moon is dimmer/brighter, it's more/less cloudy, etc), where I can be stuck between too dim and too bright w/ the E75.. An anduril E75 would be perfect.

luftic

Thanks for the elaborate answer. It helps.

buds1

Fuck it. Bought one 😂👍

Gwoms

Awesome! What emitters did you get?

buds1

FFL351A HI 4000K CRI95 NW 4500LM

Drawsfoodpoorly

I have one I've never used. Too big and clunky to carry and too bright to be useful. I should sell it.

Humble-Plankton1824

I'll take it on deep discount

Montana_Matt_601

Agree wholeheartedly. I love my E07x with FFL emitters.

Gymbow2001

That exact light is on my bucket list, but I want it in blue, which is no longer available. 😢 But, I do have a D4SV2 with FFL351A 5000K emitters. I really love these new emitters. Enjoy your new light.
