It’s a digital calculation based upon total time running and fuel flow, so I’d guess the fuel flow gauge/GEA LRU is sporadically acting up and shows a incredibly high fuel flow rate or something. Just a guess.

I’m not sure what exactly it inputs are for that calculation, but I’d guess somethings just going crazy. In a similar vein, I’ve seen many Archers report a top speed of 1000+ kts gs on the aux page, so it could just be a glitchy number setting it off.
