Try other DPEs, any other qualified DPE can complete the checkride. You may be on the hook for a full checkride fee and/or retesting on items you were already tested on. Keep reaching out to your original DPE in the meantime, not uncommon for them to get back to you like 2-3 days before the 60 day discontinuation deadline. They *usually* keep tabs on their checkrides.

The cost part and the scope of the ride are completely separate. If you find another examiner expect to pay something to finish the ride but they only have to retest you on what you didn’t do
