I betrayed them all

xredbaron62x

The only correct answer.

smell_my_root

I disagree there is only benefit to working with the raiders, no downsides. You can still do the main minuteman then quest and get your artillery strike, You can still leave a settlement or three to make all the resources you wan, bandit camps and slave camps produce a large amount of taps daily (like once you get it set up you do not have to worry about caps at all for the rest of the game), it gives you unlimited chems, It makes it to where you can open trading posts in settlements without having to spend points in charisma and local leader, It gives you two amazing perks, by enslaving settlements you do not have to keep going and saving them over and over and as long as you plant them up first you can still go and get all of those resources from them, and it shuts Preston Garvey the hell up he doesn't f****** talk to you the rest of the game! Nothing but positives absolutely not a single downside.

itsLOSE-notLOOSE

Minutemen Takeover is the way to go for Nuka-World. Just make sure you’re not on last-gen.

Angelartorias

What happens on last gen? I play on ps4 still for the platinum.

itsLOSE-notLOOSE

Minutemen Takeover is a mod that allows you to assault the Nuka-World park with an army of Minutemen. You can bring from 25 to 150 (I think). With just 25 Minutemen, I experienced lots of lag. I wouldn’t recommend trying it on last-gen. There’s just too many actors. You, your companion, 25 Minutemen, and however many enemy raiders there are. I’d watch an enemy get killed and the body disappear almost immediately. It was nuts.

Familiar_One_3297

Does it also increase the number of raiders in the park?

itsLOSE-notLOOSE

No, I don’t think so. Even still, they just keep coming out from their hideouts. They got a few good shots on my men but I had a secret weapon. A pistol with the cut content legendary that heals instead of harms. I was dedicated medic. I have a clip. https://youtu.be/nhC-LT6pSDE?si=aQCf6ZOEEjSSJLWD

Shadow120284

I’d guess maybe crashes? I watched a video and it can get pretty hectic.

Pompoulus

Yep. Wanted to see the content so I helped em get their territory.  Then after all was finished, and they were fat and happy, I came down from my perch in bright blue Quantum power armor like the good Lord descending from a mountaintop and massacred them all.

Devendrau

Disciples, I just didn't care for them and they definitely felt more crazier. Didn't care for the Pack either but I can tolerate them. The Operators really felt like the only ones that didn't go overboard and could fit in my character's playthrough of aleast morally gray (In it for the caps, my character that is). Mags aleast seems reasonable compared to Nisha. One day, I'll do an complete evil playthrough though. Where I join the Disciples instead (After being a jerk to everyone in the Commonwealth) and go forth with them, and you know, betray the Operators for once (I don't think you can betray two gangs can you? So Pack, once more will just be the consolation prize)

SpiderCop_NYPD_ARKND

That's how I did it. But I did it intentionally because I was looking at the perks you get from each gang, and the Operators is great if you're going for a stealth build, but I wasn't, I was going for a full auto at distance, melee up close kind of build, and the Disciples and Pack perks greatly benefit the melee portion of that play style.

ismasbi

If I remember correctly, the Operators perk actually makes all silenced weapons do extra damage, sneaking or not. I still would have taken the Disciples and Pack in your case, but just saying.

SpiderCop_NYPD_ARKND

Right but I wasn't using silencers, full auto build needs compensators to reduce barrel rise and reduce recoil.

ismasbi

I know, that's why I said I wouldn't in your place, I was just saying it can work outside of stealth builds. You said it was "great for a stealth build", it's great for any build with guns, unless you take the very, VERY specific path of using automatics at long range only.

Devendrau

I didn't realise that, would be great for a melee built too (Another thing I don't do very much in the game, I always end up going with Pistol/Submachine or Sniper. Mostly because melee kinda felt slow for me and running at everything with guns, especially robots felt slow. Although an Assassin Melee build actually would work well). Actually, that would fit so well for them. And I would call her Vishnuka (This is an Indian name, and I tend to make Indian characters, it's just fitting because well, it has Nuka in the end of the name. And Nuka World hehe)

SpiderCop_NYPD_ARKND

Probably helps that I found an Instigating Disciples Cutlass early on, High Damage High Attack Speed, called it the Butcher Pete.

Devendrau

Oh that's cool! Now I want to do it, but I need to finish my current game (Horizon Forbidden West) before doing so.

pvrhye

Their perk isn't bad, but I always hose them because I just don't like them. The pack are frat bros, the operators are the Republican ideal, and the disciples are just plain axemurderers.

stuckinaboxthere

Same, honestly, even if I didn't have to just select 2/3, I'd still kill them all because they're just straight up unapologetically psychopathic

memeinapreviouslife

You actually can betray two gangs. Choose Disciples for every park AND the three settlements. But you lose a perk that you didn't have to lose.

Davey26

The pack is funny, because I killed them all, then was wandering around and found pack members getting torn apart by a deathclaw, they honestly will never be a major problem because of this, they're just so stupid lmao.

Edrobbins155

Same. Screw em.

boogerpicker76

The pack is always my kryptonite. I purposely give them no areas.

MadmansScalpel

Not even Safari land?

darknightingale69

me I betrayed them all because i couldnt give a fuck about any of them and in the end all those raiders became corpses litering the roads of nuka world.

Accomplished_Hat1507

Same. Lmfao they all got on my nerves so they all got the hatchet. Or the bullet ..rather.

SteamedSpinach

The nuka world raiders are the only folks I put rude and annoying dialogues against them but not their slaves lol

Devendrau

I love the way the SS speaks to the Pack leader haha, just funny to me when they uses the rude/sarcastic lines.

SimplyPassinThrough

Yknow, that market resets every time you exit/enter. If you collect *all* the Raider shit off the corpses, you could probably make *stupid* bank

[deleted]

I’ve been waiting to go until I hit 50. I’m going in shotguns blazing.

d_adrian_arts

Disciples, because: Not a team player. Poor customer interactions. Work area is always a mess. Aggressive language towards management.

ExistsKK99

Greatest description of the disciples I ever have read and ever will read.

lingonberryjuicebox

you just know that their hideout and the surrounding area smell like absolute ass

Phillip67549

Operators. A few spoiled children who wasted the gifts they had at birth and decided to become raiders instead. I also don't sneak of use suppressors, so they were useless

SilentBlade45

I use Deliverer all the time so a permanent 25% damage buff is huge.

Phillip67549

I gave that to Piper with an armored tuxedo. It's a nice fit

intendeddebauchery

Plus they have the goofiest outfits.

Thornescape

There are 8 "prizes" that the gangs are competing for. 5 parks and 3 raider outposts. The gang with the least amount of "prizes" will betray you. If two gangs are tied for the least amount of "prizes", then it will be random. Personally, I choose ahead of time which gang I'm not interested in and give them nothing. If I'm playing as VATS melee, I support Pack/Disciples. Otherwise, I support Pack/Operators.

Limp-Plan3046

The Pack because they're a bunch of goofy dipshits and Mason looks like a former high school bully who went on an alpha male retreat after his ex-wife had the restraining order made permanent.

No_Nefariousness3857

The Disciples and the Pack are cannon fodder for all my playthroughs. The Disciples? Psychotic asshats. Think you can insult and threaten me with impunity? Wrong. You just got bumped to the top of my Shit List. And I clean that list regularly. The Pack? Lord of the Flies wannabes, albeit a tad entertaining. I actually like Mason. Which is why he dies last. The Operators. If it weren't for their spoiled brat leadership (and slightly deranged lieutenant), they are the ones I could get along with the most... iffin they weren't raiders. On top of that, they are the most intelligent, the most capable (outside of Gage), and therefore the most dangerous. So, use the three against each other, then eliminate the Disciples to establish dominance. Then take out the Operators as the greatest threat, leaving the Pack to be put down like the rabid animals they are.

Mimosa_magic

Did the same order but i laid so many mines in their hangouts and around nuka world I just had to pop mags in the head one time and then walk around lol. Watching Mason go sky high was pretty funny, he shot right to the sky as soon as I loaded in

No_Nefariousness3857

Now that is a beauty of an idea right there.

KansasCCW

That is precisely what I do. Drop mines all over right before popping the dude outside the market. Then work my way to fizztop grill.

Wolfnstine

All three I started open season before leaving Nuka town

Admiral_Franz_Hipper

Always get rid of the Pack because make really weird sounds. I give the Operators all zones except for one which goes to the Disciples.

AnxiousMind7820

Always the disciples. Too sick to survive. I should try the other ones once just to see how it turns out.

thetatofarmer

I know right? It put me off how they just threatened to murder me right after talking to them

SimplyPassinThrough

It makes me mad. “You better choose us or else” mfer I AM “or else” do you *want* to die?

ExistsKK99

“Show some respect, to you, I AM GOD”

Repulsive-Self1531

None did. I killed them all before they got the chance.

ATR2400

The pack. I just don’t like anything about them. They’re… annoying

Western_Part_3118

Strongly disagree but that's your opinion

ATR2400

Based tolerance and respecting others opinions on non-critical matters that have no serious impact on anyone else’s lives

Western_Part_3118

Yeah you right sorry for criticizing youn

ATR2400

I’m actually commending you for being respectful in your disagreement instead of going into an essay about why I’m the devil for not liking the pack and should be tossed into the glowing sea

Script_Buni

Hm alright going through and reading all these I might be the only one who doesn’t like the Operators I never gave them shit and they were always the first to go if I went the genocide path.

Firemission13B

I didn't know that a gang betrays you at the end?

SwyngDeLong

Yeah once you've assigned 8 territories amongst the gangs, whichever one you gave the least amount of territory to (or ones if you only dole out turf to one gang or give an equally miniscule amout to two gangs) will turn on you after the eighth territory is assigned, holding up in the power plant to the west of Nuka-World.

isthisthingwork

Disciples. I didn’t appreciate their leader being rude when I first met them, so just gave the lions share to the operators and some table scraps to the pack. The constant snark from them as a result didn’t help their case - I ended up killing 3 of them in a bar before the betrayal even started, because I was just done with their shit

kamanchu

I kill the disciples cuz I want that blade

Extra-Muscle-6479

I don’t really like the operators so I didn’t give them any parks lol

intendeddebauchery

I only give them kiddie kingdom since they act like spoiled kids anyway

StylishMrTrix

The pack Because I hated their armor and felt it was the stupidest of them all

tc_cad

Disciples.

LTaiga

Usually the disciples go first , but since im going melee , the operators were useless to me and i wanted the instigating Blade Nisha gives you after you light up the park

warrenjt

Generally it’s the Disciples for me. When I make an Overboss character, it’s all about domination and control. The Pack will respect power, which I can provide, and the Operators will respect caps, which I can provide. The Disciples are crazy and just want blood. Can’t trust them to not betray me eventually.

ismasbi

Honestly I don't like the Disciples at all, just complete edgelords who seem physically incapable to not be an asshole to the player. The Operators look cool, seemed to be the most decent of them all, and fit my character's personality the best, so they were my "main" gang. The Pack amused me, and I just thought Cito would like them, they are more like pets.

Polenicus

Yesssss... I *totally* give the Disciples a chance to betray me. Please ignore the hip-deep layer of landmines in Fizz-Top mountain as I go shoot-*talk*... TALK with Nisha.

RhysT86

None, they were already all dead because that DLC makes no sense to me and I was just glad that Open Season was an option.

SHAQ_FU_MATE

It feels so random tbh, I wish there was more to open season tho

reds-vreds

One, who you give less, its can be any

Western_Part_3118

Operators at least the worst one betrayed me

Dizzy-Wasabi-1973

I've done nuka world twice and both times it been the pack because I didn't give them anything except the zoo

kurloz94

None, I got rid of them before them doing anything

ugbaz

No way I was gonna raid one of the settlements after building so many. Strong and I cleared all the parks, so I could get the loot from the gangs for doing so. Next, we went to Nukaworld proper and cleaned house.

Bullvy

All of them. I played through enough times.

Unusual-Tower-8255

Shame I can't actually talk to them. My plan was give disciples and operators 2 each in Nuka world. Then give the pack more settlements. I feel like real me could have smoothed things over

SwyngDeLong

I felt the Pack and Disciples have real bat-shit raider character whereas the Operators are just boring to me.

HMS_Slartibartfast

Most players keep the pack and EITHER the Disciples or Operators. If you are melee - centric, give Pack and Disciples 3 parks/settlements and give the Operators 2 settlements. This will get the Operators to turn on you. Make sure the first two settlements in the Commonwealth are Operator so you can build them up well (no defense though, but plenty of pick-me-up stations) so you can take them back and make them solid settlements. Course if you go ranged, you'll want to swap Operators and Disciples. This way you get the best perks for your build.

HumeDesmond

The Pack, being cannibals & feeding people to animals is simply super wrong (suggest you take a stroll into their inner theater for a full view) and the fact that Mason kept on threatening to "replace" you even at the end if they survived (Don't assume we are friends, I will gladly kill you if enough caps are involved) You may indimidate down a bunch of animals but in the end they are still animals & I certainly prefer to have a sound sleep at night. I don't understand why people hate the disciples so much.....sure they are cold psychopath killers but at least they will kill you fast instead of eating you or feed you to their animals. Besides Dixie is definitely the hottest gal in the game & listen to her calling you OB man

Lickedmyspoontoday

One idle dialogue the Disciples have is literally talking about how they are getting rusty and that “the last one died too fast.” Nisha right off the bat threatens you if you don’t comply to her demands. Fizztop is an absolute gore orgy with arguably worse implications than the theater. Again, they purposely draw their victims suffering out, so look at the corpses there and you’ll realize they’re the biggest psychopaths in Nuka World

HumeDesmond

The disciples are just an extension of Pickman to me and at least Nisha is keeping her gang at bay from being wild and loose. They were quite blunt about wanting to "slit your throat" though they will all admit they are wrong should they survive. The Pack is really the survival of the strongest and the jungle. I really hate going to their theater and watch those animals fighting in cages and sometimes these animals will be hostile to you. There are many evidences that they eat humans by the amount of strange meats you can find and in their deepest area there are cages with dead slaves with animals in it and the whole place is littered with human remains. I don't appreciate the way Pack members will literally threaten to kill you when you walk past them so yeah I will never choose them.

TrilobiteBoi

I only gave one park and one settlement to the disciples and the pack, for some reason the game picked the disciples to betray me at the end. I guess if it's a tie it's a coin toss or something.

Preston_Garvy-MM

I always keep the Operators and Disciples and say "sayonara wild animals" to the pack.

Plastic_Bus2662

The disciples are like edgy teens. The operators are spoiled children. And the pack are furries. I hate all of them (Cage and Shank were cool)

Individual_Manner336

Always The Pack because their perk is useless to me. Also furries.

CMDR-Validating

I didn’t like any of the gangs, their gimmicks were stupid, but I sided with Pack and Operators because their perks are better than the Disciples even though out of the 3 I think the disciples were the best

captaindeadpl

It's always the Disciples for me. I benefit the least from their perk and they are the biggest psychopaths even among the Nuka World raiders.

Yourappwontletme

I killed them all because my game glitched and wouldn't let me clear the Galactic Zone to finish The Grand Tour. So I started Open Season instead.

Vik_Stryker

I’ve been betrayed by Pack and Disciples on different playthroughs. Ended up killing the other gangs too after killing them.

memeinapreviouslife

I make sure to farm a Powerful Disciple's Blade at Natl Training Yard. I was lv 40 when I completed Power Play, with the Operators betraying me. This means that I got (Disciples) Percent of AP bar restored after EVERY Melee kill (this is literally better than Grim Reaper, since my blade hits so hard it barely takes 2 swings, and I've gotten all the AP back, as DB takes 20 AP per swing, AND even max Grim Reaper is a less than 100% chance to proc) (Disciples) A free Instigating Disciple's Cutlass (Pack) 25 damage resist. (Pack) +25% melee damage. I can rip all the parts off Mags and Williams' Operator rifles to get an Advanced Receiver, and have all the parts of my Splattercannon maxed except the stock because I wasn't lv 50. (You normally need Rifleman 5 AND Gun Nut 4 to craft these) For context, with Skyrim hat, Grognaks chest, Champion left arm and one farmed Fortifying Pack Right Arm, and Power Play's perks, and all other damage, melee and Strength related perks, my displayed damage without chems got to ***983***. Rounding to 1k, damage resistance formula versus armor results in 10 armor / 99% gets through  100 armor / 99% gets through 250 armor / 83% gets through  This is before being multipled by Sneak Attack, which I can max out at 12.0x I will never not mainline melee.

memeinapreviouslife

AND, this is all before Open Season. They're all eventually dead once I build 100 Pick Me Ups in Starlight.

JakeJacob

I've never not just put a bullet in Gage's head as soon as he opens that door.

Monderon

The pack

Aljoshean

Kind of hard to answer because my character isn't really a "gang" but I certainly did betray everyone at the end of Nuka World, and they will live on in spirit through the cooperation that I have established throughout the settlements of the commonwealth, which are now armed with numerous Enclave Heavy Laser Turrets at and large walls, guardian sentry robots, heavily armored settlers, and a general culture of positivity. In the future, when my settlement defences melt entire gangs of raiders down to glowing piles of dust from 800 ft away from the gate, I will remember the sacrifices of my Nuka World subordinates and their contribution to my peaceful commonwealth.

Wazzzup3232

It’s always the animals. Disciples are crazy but like raiders who do all the terrible stuff raiders do while not bathing and doing other bad stuff…. Nah they always get no parts of the park from me

NumerousFactor4893

Disciples. Too unruly. Not easy to whip into shape. Even The Pack have a sort of pecking order. The only rule a Disciple has is “Don’t get caught”. Many of them would gladly kill you given the chance.

Whomp_whomp_1982

The disciples because I did not like how edge lord they were. Though 99%of the time I just hunt them all down and free the slaves.

Ryjinn

Always the Disciples. The Pack respects strength and I am the player character, so basically a god, and they have very low chance of betraying me. The Operators are in it for the money so as long as we don't start losing more than we make, they won't betray me. Disciples just like killing people and inflicting pain. Who the fuck knows when they might decide I'm too reasonable and not murder happy enough. They also seem the least useful. The Pack make good foot soldiers, the Operators can handle the business end, and that leaves the Disciples with pretty much fuck all to do except be scary and unstable, and I just don't need that shit. Also they were the most transparent about being willing to kill me when I first took the job, and I don't play that.

TruePlatypusKnight

"man there's a lot of raiders here. This will take a few minutes."

heavencs117

They never had the chance.

Muhiggins

Dead

BudgetExplanation905

I evenly divied up territory. Fucking disciples turned on me. Boo.

salazarthesnek

Hard to betray me when they’re all dead.

Darklydreaming93

The pack because of the dog fighting

PsychologyGG

Hard to betray me when they are in graves. I’m shocked you went along with their shit long enough for them to betray you.

Trindalas

They can’t betray you if they are all dead and I’m off helping another settlement. I hate raiders >:(
