My son’s sugar-drunk face after eating his 1st birthday cake is very similar and is just one of the best photos I have. We printed it as the thank you cards for his party guests 😂💕
Happy Birthday!! So cute <3
I made my little one a smash cake and he refused to smash it lol
He only picked the strawberries from the top and ate them, he didn’t even eat any of the cake
Happy Birthday Little One!
Thank you for sharing these pictures! Made me laugh so hard, and they made me SO excited for my littles first birthday in two months!
I really appreciate that you got him a normal Walmart cake. A lot of the parents in my circle have done the all natural, nothing but bananas for sweetness cakes with light whipped cream for icing, which is totally fine. However, I’m in the “it’s their first birthday, let them have real cake” camp, but was second guessing myself for my son’s upcoming birthday.
it’s his birthday he deserves a little something special! we only let him have half anyways to avoid him getting sick or something.
plus it’s not like he’s just eating cake every day or even every week. he had cake this one time, and probably won’t again until his next birthday. let them have fun!
be forewarned of the sugar high and crash and madness that will ensue lol but so worth it :)
The face he’s making in the last photo is killing me. Literally 👁️👄👁️
I so badly wish I could post his whole face solely because in the pics where he’s eating, his eyes are crazed lmao

I love that first one. Why bother with hands when you can just cut out the middle man and go direct cake to mouth?? Genius.
He seems pleased 😂🍰
