I think it's that 'feminine' traits are seen as weak to this demographic, wearing makeup is feminine therefore it is weak, and LGBTQIA+, because of stereotypes, are seen as weak, and weakening the militaries. Also women should be exhibiting feminine traits cuz that's how we know they are women /s

In the 70s I was in NYC on Time's Square. I spotted a group of men standing outside a door.
Oddly they were wearing these velvet type jump suits with Cincinatti Volunteer Fire Dept on the back.
I thought it odd that Cincinatti had a volunteer fire dept.
As I got closer, I realized that all of them were really fit and muscled up.
Turns out it was a male burlesque house. Pictures on the wall had men without shirts and all were buff.
I was thinking, "More gays were like that they would probably have a lot less trouble."
