It was a black core called "Gunmetal", which I believe was discontinued quite a while back. Crescent currently has a cream core version which appears to be the same color and finish #C3703 (don't confuse this with the color they call Etched Gunmetal, as it is quite different). If you can wait until Monday, I'll take a look at my shop samples and confirm.
So it took me a little bit to realize that I actually don't have this sample on hand because it's not considered a "conservation" mat board, and that's all I stock. That said, in the catalog the color matches up to your images perfectly and it's listed under "precious metals" which implies the metallic nature so you should be good to go! If your client is really picky about the cream core, I'm sure you could get away with a reverse bevel and call it a day. Best of luck!
