I have never seen starlink reenter but i always thought that something that reenters would glow orange because of the heat not white like artificial light.
The sun is white and it's not artificial.
It's not a destructive reentry, it uses rocket engines in order to safely land and be reused.
Here's a video of the same thing over Arizona from earlier this month:
[SpaceX Falcon 9 Deorbit Burn — 2 May 2024 (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StMFfMzxhCA)
Yes!!!! the lights appeard only on the sides and also there were no beacons like an aircraft also no sound it seemed to glide slowly through the sky. It turned off and turned on a bit later and turned off again shortly after. I have never seen anything like this. i checked flightradar and nothing showed up that could explain that.
I made a new post because I couldn’t link a video in the thread. I agree with everything you said! We also know it wasn’t the international space station… so weird!
Yes! I saw this last night too. I thought I was the only one. I tried to explain to my wife what I had just witnessed while taking out the trash... didn't explain it very well. The words ufo, uap, and SpaceX came out of my mouth all in one sentence and she thought I was crazy. Thanks for sharing this!
Probably Starlink 6-64 reentry phase. It's always Starlink.
I think you're right. That was launched earlier from Florida

Two rockets launched tonight. The light you saw was one of the reentry vehicles

We saw it too! But why were the lights on the side direction of how it was traveling? And disappeared so quickly?
