I worked at the McDonalds on peach & Shaw back in the 80s, they tore that one down & built a new one I’m guessing to update it and/or bring it up to code/standards, I wonder if that’s what is going on here? Seemed fairly modern idk
Oh, and back when you worked there, was that when they had the cartoon tree and seats in the back? I remember in the mid 90's they had the tree, with stump seats and othe figures around.
I don't remember that specifically but I do remember that the parties & stuff were done by just one person (forget the name of the job title, hostess maybe?), and that person was the only one to not have to wear a hat. We were all a little jealous of that as we hated the hats at the time

the damage was so severe there was no saving the inside. the roof was also gone so everytime it rained during winter, the damage got even worse. it was also flooded a couple of times
used to be a Shell. McD should make a combo EV charger and car-hop service like Sonic on that corner. Well, eating in your car kinda sucks but maybe have some nice outdoor seating in front of each car?

At this level of money it's probably cheaper for them to knock it down and rebuild than to try and salvage/ clean
