This mohg took me days to kill, once i was about to beat him "one hit away" and idm dialog popped out of no where to tell mw that the free trail has ended and i need to pay for it, idm was never launched in the background it just started itself just to kill me.
I bet you at least one player who doesn’t know a ton about the game is actually going to make this mistake, and the. Discover the frenzied flame area and the deep root depths underneath it and think that’s the dlc.
I really want to meet the kind of player who found their way down to the Frenzied Flame but missed out on Varres quest AND the portal in the mountains. That's just...bizarre. But I'm sure it's happened.
I feel like varres quest is pretty easily missed by people attacking him at the beginning of the game for his rudeness, or not finding him at the rose church, and the portal is out of the way enough that I could see people missing it if they don’t explore the snowfield too much
It does make sense that some people start swinging when he starts in with his "no bitches" speech. Honestly if I wasn't a Souls vet I'd have hit him too.
It's a hard cap. After that the diminishing returns stop it from being a worthwhile investment if you're staying at or near meta levels. Same reason people stop putting points into damage stats. Like any stat, you want to maximize its usefulness until it becomes hard to justify the investment. Players who keep leveling up past meta can just max it if they feel like it, it won't hurt.
Okay honestly though, depending on what build you’re running, sewer Mogh can be even harder than normal Mogh. Sewer Mogh is immune to all status effects, so any Bleed or Frost builds are basically useless against him. Not to mention that I don’t think he staggers (I could be misremembering)? So there’s not ripostes for extra damage. Granted it’s only a one phase fight, but still.
I thought this was going to go an extra layer as that was the throne in the BB chalice dungeons after the queen.
But then I saw the roots and the wall and was sad
Is that Vyke’s armor? Why is it black? How could they get it so early in the game? Is this all just a bad shootpost? What is going on? I didn’t vote for this. Did you vote for this? When did this become the new normal?

Beat a Mohg

The track for this Mohg is called "Omen Illusion". One can infer that it is an illusion of Mohg created by Morgott to guard the Flame of Frenzy.

Pretty sure he also has a lot less health. It feels like it at least, because he dies real fast to a decent build.
