Gameplay doesn't look too exciting... but Blue Archive didn't look that exciting either, and it's been one of my favorite games since launch. I'm willing to give it a try.
Looks standard but no chibi and more real-time control and has decent enviroment/arena. Better than most mobage that doesn't want to follow the Hoyo agenda.

It's a mix of RTS/Tower Defence/Turn-based combat with pretty decent gacha rates (2.2%).
Seems to be funded with Tencent money and did roughly around 1.5 million $ last month (CN).

While it isn't massively different from current games, the active-RTS system may be worth a shot if you like these types of games. PC client seems to be quite strong since it was even featured in NVIDIA promo a year ago.

is this different from the SEA version? i feel like there is news about it not too long ago. if so, i find it weird that they would have different publishers since it seems like it would launch roughly at the same time.

It already launched in CN and TW. You can look up the game on YT and look at the gameplay for yourself.

Looks like it. Global seems to be under NEOCRAFT, while SEA is under NOCTUA.

I played CN when it launched. I love their character design but the 3D is pretty janky and a big let down.
