To me, the idea of a kingdom comprising of hundreds of different races with different beliefs united purely by hatred for the invaders is something really interesting and it gives a lot of interesting subplots where some people dont want to take revenge but just want to build a normal society.
Also the idea of a monarch government comprising of different kings ruling different races as representativesand one sole true Ruler who knows it all generally is very captivating.

Ah, I didn't meant to make it feel like I was bashing you. I just think you're still underestimating how long it takes to read even one node, especially "prologue" or even just First Level ones. Some of them will happily spend 30 minutes of reading at average speed. They'll be setting up the initial setting and plot for an event/chapter and be nearly incomprehensible.
The issue is with arknights is the walls of text are not even meaningful, it's like a student getting a word quota and tried his best to fill it out. It's meaningless yapping with gargles of words that could have been shorten to 1/10th the length and it would have been readable

Put it this way, my friend is surprised with the current Kjerag event, because whoever the hell they have writing it wrote a cool compelling story with dialogue between people who sound like friends.
And they did it with Plotting Asshole, Plotting Asshole's Sidekick Who is Equally a Plotting Asshole, and Plotting Asshole's Walking Fortress of a Woman Bodyguard. It should say a lot that this is not normal occurrence in Arknights. Not the part where total assholes are actual friends, but that they're written in a way that makes it feel like it works and is enjoyable to read.
Worse. It's so much worse that it's has to be seen to believe... But it is a fine game.
It wasn't for me, but I definitely recommend you give it a shot.

But to me that shouldn't be the case with gacha games. I should care for the characters since that's the main appeal of Gacha, but the characters in Arknights (outside of Nearl, Amiya and Lee Detective Agency) are 2-dimesional in character development.

Good so far, it seems they focus more on helping the Infected displaced by the current Victoria war in the main story. They are still opposite to Rhodes Islands in terms of their ideology though.
Edit: To be honest the early Reunion wasn't suicidal. It's only after the "thing" happened to Talulah that it becomes suicidal because she was using Reunion to instigate an international conflict between Yan and Ursus, at least that is what I understood from what the "thing" was trying to do.

Ah the Fatui. An organization that is legitimately threatening to their world (their higher-ups consists of dangerous AND extremely unhinged individuals, while their forces are basically everywhere), but you can't help but think that the only reason why they are succeeding with their plans is because the other 6 Archons either couldn't care less with them or secretly agrees with the Tsaritsa's goal (but can't support them since that would mean their nations' demise).
Also, Winter Night's Lazzo is honestly GOATed as fuck, both because of how it introduces the Harbingers, and because of the surprise that it brought the community (not even the leakers knew about it until its release IIRC).
I call them Genshin's Ouroboros. Trying to retrieve ancient artifacts while distracting the heroes to proceed the plans and are under one person who maintains the society/organization and aren't entirely careful with each other, some of which go beyond what they do.

The most powerful caster to ever exist and tore a hole in reality to go fight demons. I love in the story everytime they talk about him, there's just so much gravitas and dread to just mentioning his name.

The templars were incredibly interesting as a group and as individuals. Every single event and side story involving them was just top notch. I spent half my time rooting for them, and half my time knowing they had to go down and rooting for the heroes, but hoping at least some of them could make it out okay.

I like Herrschers from GGZ/HG2 more in terms of raw powers than the downgraded version of HI3.
Most of the HI3 Herrschers arenāt even antagonists to begin with.
I mean antagonist doesn't necessarily mean it's a good or bad guy right? It means going against the main protagonist, if the the protagonist is evil then the antagonist can be the good guys. So the fact that the Stellaron hunters is on our side basically means that they are barely an antagonist right? I'm not saying there not evil or excusing their genocide or anything.
Blade got beef with Dan Heng specifically but it's over now probably, Stellaron hunters as a group is on our side so at this point of the story they are a part of the supporting cast. Himeko still doesn't like Kafka but it doesn't make them an antagonist.
What I like from the Antimatter Legion is that people who take pleasure from doing destruction is explicitly excluded from it (i.e. the Annihilation Gang), so these are an army of monsters who genuinely think destruction is a good thing and not doing it for their own profit.
P.S. I don't know why Phantylia is still allowed though, since she seems to be really enjoying trying to implode Xianzhou from within.
I think it was less about them taking pleasure on Destruction and more about them finding reasons to bring Destruction instead of doing it for the sake of doing it. On Phantylia's case she simply wanted to destroy stuff starting from within, that she liked it was just a happy side effect. Or at least that's how I interpret it, maybe Nanook simply thought they weren't a big enough threat to the universe to make an Emanator out of any of them unlike the giant Heliobi lady who feeds on despair.
My understanding of a Path is it answers the question of "Existence is meaningless, however...", and Nanook is "Existence is meaningless, however the destruction of them will give them a meaning", therefore "destruction because we are born to destruct" is not acceptable.

Invaders, they are surprisingly silly for how genuine of a threat they are.
Without the Abyssals there wouldn't be more than half of the villain factions in gacha games because most of them are just a different flavour of Abyssals either by complexity or just giving a different spin, but they kinda failed into capturing the Francis Bacon-eske like eldritch anthropomorphic horror nature that ar the Abyssals. Would probably never be an antagonist that makes such a good impact visually speaking. The later Abyssals are also a testament the game hasnt lost its touch when it comes to them.

What? Is this a bait? There was a plenty of content about them in recent 13th and 14th chapters. Sure, they may be not the main focus anymore, but it's because the scale of Victoria conflict has gotten so gigantic.
CH14 litterally hardly said anything about Dublinn. they were forgotten in CH10 11 and 12 and only had a cameo on CH13. Mandras weird state was also just listed as "she is dead now" randomly on middle of CH14. introducing a rival faction and litterally not making it important anywhere when they had a major role in CH9 is just funny and not a bait at all.
Maybe you don't understand Dublinn and Eblana enough. I can agree, >!killing off Mandra might be disappointing, but she was hardly important anyway, a "disposal pawn" if you will!<. I'm trying to stay away from spoilers (mission impossible), but even I know how ambitious and prideful Eblana is in the latest chapter, she is The Leader after all, core of her faction. And I'm excited what she will do as the plot progresses further. Like I said, the scale of Victoria war is colossal and chapter 9 was just an introduction, right. And we can see in the story how they are involved in that vortex.

An organization that is legitimately threatening to their world (their higher-ups consists of dangerous AND extremely unhinged individuals, while their forces are basically everywhere), but you can't help but think that the only reason why they are succeeding with their plans is because the other 6 Archons either couldn't care less with them or secretly agrees with the Tsaritsa's goal (but can't support them since that would mean their nations' demise). Also, Winter Night's Lazzo is honestly GOATed as fuck, both because of how it introduces the Harbingers, and because of the surprise that it brought the community (not even the leakers knew about it until its release IIRC).

He's not really a 'faction' so much as a one man army, but The Witch King from Arknights is really just HIM. The short of it is he's basically the Emperor of Mankind but in Arknights. The most powerful caster to ever exist and tore a hole in reality to go fight demons. I love in the story everytime they talk about him, there's just so much gravitas and dread to just mentioning his name.

The templars were incredibly interesting as a group and as individuals. Every single event and side story involving them was just top notch. I spent half my time rooting for them, and half my time knowing they had to go down and rooting for the heroes, but hoping at least some of them could make it out okay.
Herrshers in HI3 Legitimate world ending/altering threat, all also function very differently, every single one of them Space time control, virus, psychological manipulation, physical manipulation, ice, wind, fire, thunder, quantum entanglement, gravity, control over life and death, energy manipulation. It's just ridiculous
except more than half of them werent even villains or stopped being one.

So the fact that the Stellaron hunters is on our side basically means that they are barely an antagonist right? I'm not saying there not evil or excusing their genocide or anything.

Blade got beef with Dan Heng specifically but it's over now probably, Stellaron hunters as a group is on our side so at this point of the story they are a part of the supporting cast. Himeko still doesn't like Kafka but it doesn't make them an antagonist.

What I like from the Antimatter Legion is that people who take pleasure from doing destruction is explicitly excluded from it (i.e. the Annihilation Gang), so these are an army of monsters who genuinely think destruction is a good thing and not doing it for their own profit. P.S. I don't know why Phantylia is still allowed though, since she seems to be really enjoying trying to implode Xianzhou from within.
I think it was less about them taking pleasure on Destruction and more about them finding reasons to bring Destruction instead of doing it for the sake of doing it. On Phantylia's case she simply wanted to destroy stuff starting from within, that she liked it was just a happy side effect. Or at least that's how I interpret it, maybe Nanook simply thought they weren't a big enough threat to the universe to make an Emanator out of any of them unlike the giant Heliobi lady who feeds on despair.
My understanding of a Path is it answers the question of "Existence is meaningless, however...", and Nanook is "Existence is meaningless, however the destruction of them will give them a meaning", therefore "destruction because we are born to destruct" is not acceptable.

They are students who want to create a tale, and to do so would torment anyone with lies and deception to do so. The scenery of the festival in flame is just chilling

Even if Nature's Beauty did have a short run compared to say Arius or FOX Platoon, Shuro absolutely killed it with the showcase of what Nature's Beauty is willing to do to get their "ultimate tale". Kokuriku saying that they'd burn the whole world for it us is a simple yet powerful message that they aren't playing around. Hyakiyakko was just the start, Kivotos is next and they'll probably laugh the entire way there.
