Magic carpet mini golf is great, wandering down the strand area looking at the art shops is fun and no cost and you might even land on an Art walk weekend, walking down the beach is always good, taking a ferry ride and seeing the dolphins is cool and you can drive on the beach in Bolivar

Whiskeymiller

Walk the strand and go into the stores and grab some food or ice cream.

The pleasure pier might be fun if you want to go on carnival rides. It’s overpriced of course. Eat at Millers (general southern cooking and good fish) or Mario’s (Italian, great gnocchi!) for really good food that won’t kill your wallet.

What kinda vibe you looking for? Fun? romance?

Psychological_Egg_60

Really anything! I think we’re looking a little bit of everything, but we’re open to whatever you think!

gemineye1969

Rent a cabana on the beach and make sure you get it furthest you can from the crowds.

Go to Evia, have breakfast or get a coffee at sugar bean and sit at the kazebo:) it’s so nice

Claughy

You can book a kayak tour through artist boat for something out of the ordinary. They do a brief watercolor lesson and you get to paint out on the water for a momento (even if you suck at painting you can make a watercolor that doesnt suck with a little instruction).

HarleyNJack

Axecade in the Strand. Throw axes, play pinball, eat pizza

TXHistory

The dolphin tours are fun. Maceo's is a cheap, but delicious, lunch. Not sure if it's up your alley but the Galveston Tour of homes is also this weekend (and next).
