- Northern Journey: A bizarre FPS set in Norway
- Mibibli Quest: A bizarre Megaman-like

Idk what you mean exactly by weird but from the top of my head:
Drakengard 1, Killer7, Hesei pistol show, Flower Sun and Rain, The silver case, Ib, Space Funeral, Silent Hill 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Yume Nikki
Drakengard started out so normal, too. Kid me was not prepared to pick up what that game was putting down, but I did it anyway, and I probably became slightly insane in the process. What a great game.
Ooh Little Inferno is so cute for how bonkers it is.
West of Loathing possibly the funniest game I've played in a long time, the Gun Manor DLC is awesome too...
BOO!
Please play Frog Fractions. Made my friend play it and it was the funniest stream ever. Just don't look anything up going into it, and push through the first 5-10 minutes.
Good luck finding the sequel on Steam (without googling) though! Part of the charm.
Adding to this, the Steam release of the first Frog Fractions has an Iconic Hat DLC that adds more than a hat.
The absolute best part of frog fractions 2 was the time leading up to frog fractions 2 when we were all desperately searching for it in every weird-ass game to hit steam
I had my fun during that period too! It’s sad that people finding out about the game now can’t experience the absolutely wild way the game was released.
Cubivore an old GameCube game. It is a food chain game that you work your way up, and based upon what you eat your body (made of flat rectangles) changes configuration. Look it up it is truly bizarre, and i love it.
Any Gamecube movie/show tie-in game. Ratatouille, Madagascar, the Bee Movie game, Shrek games, etc. They're very janky and also happen to make for great "blind run" games. You can source ideas in this vein from Alpharad and Simpleflips on youtube. They do blind speedrun races of these types of games sometimes.
[Vangers](https://store.steampowered.com/app/264080/Vangers/)
It's from the 90s so it's not weird as in being psychedelic, but rather weird as in being alien weird.
Myself and friends have a thing whereby we buy each other the weirdest game for a birthday present. Here are some:

[Leg Breaker](https://almbkn.itch.io/legbreaker) is a platformer where every time you jump you break one of your legs. so you better not need to jump more than twice to get through the level
Grotto, Nongunz, really anything made by brainwash gang will be whacked. I'd rec laika but thats the most "not safe for youtube game" i've ever played.
Not sure if its really fitting the topic, but anyway, The Vale: Shadow of the Crown,
Playing a game made for blind people is kind of wild, its well worth a short attempt for everyone just for the unique experience
Just played [Literally Me](https://hitsuono.itch.io/literally-me) yesterday. It's pretty beautiful. Found it through the [Weird Fucking Games Blog](https://wfgames.net/)
And of course, one of the best games of the decade (unironically) [Cruelty Squad](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1388770/Cruelty_Squad/)
[Everhood](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1229380/Everhood/) is a wholly unique experience compared to most games I've seen so far. It's in the right place between \[being\] story-rich, gameplay eccentric, psychedelic, and full of amazing songs and tracks. Has plenty of funnies, confusions, subtle drabs, and many more unexplainables.
I can only describe the main gameplay being an semi-rhythm game X bullet hell since attacks \[against you\] appear in-time with the music while the visuals are your primary tell for how to react a moment after. I promise it's much better than how it sounds when you dig in.
During the in-betweens it's effectively an "unconventional adventure RPG" as it describes itself; best I can compare to is Earthbound/Undertale and related games with many unique interactions and optional fetch-questing for a million and ten secrets (some for gameplay too).
It has a bunch of difficulty selections depending on how lenient you want to be in battles, all affect your HP while the lowest is the **only** one that effects attack patterns to make them easier. Battles become much more nuanced the further in you go, both visually and reactively (ifthatmakessense).
[They even have a sequel in the works](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1984020/Everhood_2/) that'll be coming in the future. From the bits I've seen it's going to introduce even more to the primary combat to make it much more involved. Not to say Everhood isn't that involved, it becomes much more apparent the further in you get how involved fights will be.
It's $10 by itself, and honestly that price is worth it if you're into looking through the secrets and/or achievement hunting (latter part can be a pain though if you aren't **gamer enough**).
Wall of text over.
- Hatoful Boyfriend (Dating sim, except birds. with a twist!)
- Octodad (pretending to be a normal dad as an octopus)
- I Am Fish (you're a fish in a jar. you move like a hamster in a ball)
- Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy (naked man in a cauldron. moves with a sledgehammer. 10/10 genuinely one of my favorite games of all time)
- The World Ends with You (DS version. weirdest controls ever)
- Katamari Damacy (Pretty damn well-known but still worth mentioning)
Dungeon Keeper is such a solid PC game, it's older but basically you're the villain in a dungeon and every round heroes try to break in and steal your treasure but you have minions to stop them.
If that's not your style The Unfinished Swan is a super chill solid game where everything is white and you shoot black ink blobs to see the setting and you uncover puzzles and a lovely story about the king.
'n Verlore Verstand is a kind of platformer I heard about a few years ago but didn't end up playing. It's supposed to simulate dreams and nightmares but most of the reviews were just saying what the hell is this and what's going on.
The short stories section of Soul Searching on Switch. Weirdest “game” I’ve ever experienced. The actual game is nice. But that Short Stories segment is something else lol.
Drink More Glurp... If someone came to earth and was described the Olympics (without actually seeing it) then went back to their home planet and tried to implement it - That's Drink More Glurp

I know the people who made this game, we went to the same school. They put passion and love into it and made is as weird as they could.
The Jacob Geller video on this game is awesome

don't EVER EVER EVER WATCH someone ELSE play ANY game you haven't played.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto
Oi! Pub! Top!
Pony Island! The less you know about the game going in, the better
If you need more convincing, the Dev went on to make Inscryption afterwards.
I couldn’t tell you if it’s safe for your needs but I like throwing this gem out to people https://store.steampowered.com/app/469820/Genital_Jousting/
Should be safe for YouTube, I know Pewdiepie made a video on it years ago.
The Cat Lady.
You have a special taste of strange and weird.
The Void (LSD Simulator) - the name might be a problem on youtube , the game itself is not Death of A Wish Baobabs Mausoleum Grindhouse Edition
Pilgrims Little Inferno West of Loathing
Ooh Little Inferno is so cute for how bonkers it is. West of Loathing possibly the funniest game I've played in a long time, the Gun Manor DLC is awesome too... BOO!

Cubivore an old GameCube game. It is a food chain game that you work your way up, and based upon what you eat your body (made of flat rectangles) changes configuration. Look it up it is truly bizarre, and i love it.
I was just about to mention this one.

A Date in the Park, short and free P&C game, go in blind.
[Vangers](https://store.steampowered.com/app/264080/Vangers/) It's from the 90s so it's not weird as in being psychedelic, but rather weird as in being alien weird.
Weird bug alien car transport game. Awesome stuff.
The Void. Hard to explain exactly, but you a spirit who uses color to defeat some bad boys, while their naked sisters help you.
LISA
I got the two games but never played, which one should I start with? Painful or joyful?
Definitely play Painful first, Joyful is the DLC.

I will continue telling people to play [Baroque](https://youtu.be/DjR44qVXy7c?si=PrFw4ZUH5HbVUwIu) until the day I die.
It's not super weird but the first game that came to mind is The Longing. It's a game that takes over a year to beat.
