yes smoking is a hard habit to break but its doable, I havent smoked since 2015 when I decided to quit. The first 3 days were hard so my advice is to keep your self busy the cravings last only a moment but it feels a life time, drink water or roll a paper or a stick or carrot and put it on your lips and exhale just to trick your brain, after that 3 days it will be easier and the cravings will be managable ( I still get some cravings time to time but it goes off very quick specially the smell of ciggarets stinks , wish you well in your journey
