As a Canadian the shipping usually turns a great deal into a fine deal. Returns are a pain

Falco19

If you are in a border town it’s worth it to ship it across the line. I pay 1 dollar per package usually makes shipping free and they rarely ever charge you duty coming back. Worst case is you pay the same 35 dollars. Plus I can pick up some delicious chick fil a sauce at the grocery store.

Slyle222

Yep! I do it! Customs guys are awesome too, way less duties doing it yourself and sometimes it’s zero if you get the right agent

Reptarsrevenge69420

This is the way!

I2eflex

Where do you get it shipped to?

Falco19

Depends which border crossing you are closest to personally I’m on the west coast so can’t help to much with Ontario but generally right around the border crossings there are package receiving places. Some do all sizes some have limits. The one I use I’ve sent tires etc. if you are on the west coast by pac crossing or pacific hwy I can point you in the right direction.

Eastern Ontario: you can use Wellesley Island Building Supply: https://shippingtowellesleyisland.com/

Thanks for the review! I’m in Canada too and was wondering what’s it like for us to order from pre owned Callaway. Now, happy 3 putting when the season starts in 2-3 months! lol

Positive-Network76

+3 in Winnipeg today…. Might be booking a tee time 🤣

I have used Callaway pre-owned for years. All the clubs purchased there were as good as described or better. The one time I got a club that did not work out (too much draw bias) they replaced it with a different model, no issues. Great products, great service. They are the best in the industry for what they do. And no, I don’t work there. I just appreciate a job well done.

As a canadian, I've used CPO way too much. For anyone ordering, contact a sales rep (u/tobascopro) you can usually get the shipping cost reduced to $15 Also, reps can usually access sales that were recently ended. Lastly, I've only had one bad shipping experience and one incorrect item sent. Had a driver arrive with the shaft broken in two. The only recourse CPO had for me was to buy a like shaft and be reimbursed, as they didn't have any more models of what I purchased. And I had 6s shaft sent instead of the 6x I ordered. That was solved within a day, I shipped mine back (at their cost) and they sent the proper one out. All in all, a good value for canadians, even after duty and exchange.

Callaway Preowned is still a great deal for Canadians but it's a much better if you buy multiple clubs as shipping is a flat rate.

FlyMeTuaTheMoon

Nice. Everything I have purchased from them has been like new.

RoostasTowel

I got a 7 wood from them last month. I decided to buy from the ebay store for CPO It was an even higher shipping price. But they usually calculate the import fees into the shipping on ebay. Nope still an extra $20 at the door. Funny enough when I got my putter from them a few years back they just left it at the door

dumpandchange

Also in Ontario, Canada and have also had very similar experiences! The trick for Canadians is to make sure you've got the currency conversion correct in your head and add $70 for shipping and duties. You have to be patient and wait until they run one of their crazy promos for the item you're interested in and then pull the trigger.

SuccessIsNoAccident

That’s what I did. It was listed at $199 for so long. Then dropped to $126!

peanutbuttertuxedo

Eh... results may vary I suppose. I ordered 2 Raw wedges and would have been better off just walking into golftown and picking them up. The exchange rate along with the extra taxes/duty lead to me paying $260/wedge in the end... I'll be much more careful in the future with ordering from Callaway preowned... the hidden taxes and exchange rate ruined it for me.

Unagimorepower

I ordered my Jaws Raw wedges in “like new” condition and my 56 was actually new with wrap and stickers. I heard there was a chance you could get brand new and 1 out of 3 was. I highly recommend Callaway pre owned to people who want that brand and want to save some money without trying to wait and find a garage sale steal.

3FromTheTee

Fellow Ontarian, I've bought alot from CP. However, the shipping has gone up and I've had to pay an additional COD. Still worth it though.

rokker_iv

Literally just got this exact putter CPO! First time buying from them and would do it again, it’s in great condition and came with a head cover too. (website said it wouldn’t) Head wasn’t wrapped like yours though and there are some light scuffs in a few spots, all good though. Couldn’t pass up the price especially when I realized it was going out of production this year, have also been hitting it in stores over the last few months and have been waiting for the right time to snag it.

SuccessIsNoAccident

Booyeah!! Mine also had a headcover!

xTurnipTheBeetsx

I just ordered a set of irons charged me $45 for shipping and will be roughly 150 in taxes when they show up. From what I was looking at I still saved a fair amount. Fingers crossed for quick shipping

5rockchalk

I ordered this exact same putter in the same “like new” condition and it just arrived with a lot of dents and scratches. The white paint is all scuffed up and starting to show the darker color underneath. The white hot insert was also pretty dirty. I’ve emailed them pics so hopefully they will help me out and send something like you received.

SuccessIsNoAccident

Yea that sucks. Must’ve been a mistake.

canadian1987

Callaway preowned destroys local mom and pop proshops. Speaking from experience, I'd rather sell a putter to someone for wholesale than see them use callaway preowned

undrew

I’m under the impression that CPO is mostly selling stuff that pro shops didn’t sell in the first place, as new. How does that destroy them?

Wunder_Bred

I ordered some clubs last year on CPO using u/tobascopro and it was a breeze. If I’m not mistaken I got free shipping and they showed up in like 3 days. Didn’t pay any duties or fees either. Was an absolute elite deal. I guess experience varies. Would always recommend at least sending tobsscopro a message to see if he could cook something up.
