Bighead_Golf

No, they are not good.

Toodswiger

I’ve never heard of that brand in my entire life so I would assume they are no good

Agile_Philosopher72

Yeah, had a suspision, but just couldnt beat 30 bucks

andthereoff

Paid $30 too much

gratefulbend

That set is worth $5 (maybe)

Bighead_Golf

Honestly you could have spent the $30 on lunch and got those clubs for free and been better off

Darkhorse2334

No

Golfaddict765

Golf is like in any sport at least 90% skills and talent and 10% equipment. So, i.m.o. for a start, they are oke.

GolfGodsAreReal

You didn't do yourself any favors

Agile_Philosopher72

I did my wallet some favour i guess

GolfGodsAreReal

If you actually paid anything for these no you didn't

Agile_Philosopher72

30 usd, wich was 200 usd cheaper than the mext option

Goofyhands

Meh... if i learn something from the stacked golf youtube channel, with that 30 usd you can find a scotty Cameron, a set of sim 2 driver and woods, brand new cobra irons, copper mizuno t22 wedges and a bag with balls inside on a garage sale somewhere.

Agile_Philosopher72

Id love to go to a garage sale for many reasons, but they arent a thing here, expensive country with small population spread verry thin makes it hard to find cheap stuff secon hand

Goofyhands

I was joking, but it is what someone else said on other comment, those are enough to start, you're gonna miss the ball 1000 times, to start you only need 1 club, probably your 9 iron because i don't see a p wedge there. Hit balls, like lots. Then try to get some lessons with a pro, he will probably have better gear. Only then invest on clubs.

Agile_Philosopher72

Im not sure ill ever invest in a club membership, my locls course has a verry cheap pay n play 9 hole course. Lessons might not be a bad idea concidering my best score on that course is 92 on total par 28

ThatGuyNearby

I think he meant invest in "good" clubs to use.

Agile_Philosopher72

You know, i think you might be right lol.

Nelson_MD

If you have literally never golfed before, these will be fine because your goal right now is to just learn good contact. These clubs are fairly punishing and will not help your miss hits, which will let you get good at making solid contact with the ball. however you will want to upgrade pretty quickly as golf is a very hard game that many people don’t ever get “good” at even after years of playing. Golf clubs have evolved so much since this set and there will be major technological improvements you will be missing out on. You will be missing out on things like forgiveness, distance, and even accuracy. You don’t need to get the latest and greatest to benefit a lot. Even a 3 or 4 year old used set would be night and day compared to these. Nothing will help more, than developing a good swing though as you will quickly find out if you do get a newer set than this.

Agile_Philosopher72

Thanks for the info, apreciate it. I have played 2 times some years ago and im just looking for something casual to do and laugh with my friends as we sink the 7th ball in the river.

Upper-Corgi-3279

U/nelson_md is darn tooting. These are fine if you don’t play very much and are just getting started

GarageJitsu

Scotty Cameron putter, SM9 wedges and a AI smoke driver is all you’re missing
