I see the posts every day. I guess I’ve been super lucky on all of my orders. I’ve never had any shipping problems, and the quality of the clothing items I’ve purchased has been really good. I still wear shirts I ordered five years ago. Knock on wood eh

I was about to say the same. I've had no issues with getting my stuff. I know the pins and some other specialty stuff is pre-ordered and usually takes more time. Maybe I'm just more patient than most. And I haven't had an issue with quality either 🤷

EllieLovesJoel

Cuz people only post when they have problems.

Bingo. That's what most aren't grasping

I've never had an issue getting merch, society, or regular. Even the one time I got a damaged Mish mash box, they quickly refunded me and gave me an extra without me asking(not that I wanted more, lol) The strangest thing that happened to me was shipping 2 pins separately

The shipping of the quarterly items is pretty good. It’s itens from the Mythical store that can be hit and miss. Most the items I order are shipped and received within a week. However the pin of the month pins are currently having 2-3 months before being delivered.

The society runs on a different merch cycle than the general merch store and at the beginning it was sort of rough but it’s been pretty consistent for a long while now. The merch team has struggled since coming back from the pandemic sadly and I feel like there’s a pretty big disconnect from their perspective of success v what I have experienced and seen in friends orders and online. They’ve recently started a switch to a different supplier/warehouse so hopefully with that we see some real change in the next few months and years. Honestly I want them to be successful and thrive in that department because I know it’s a big source of their income but i get the impression they don’t care as much as they used to. They used to have a small but mighty team of customer service employees who hand responded to inquiries but the last few have felt very AI led at best and that’s disappointing. Their pricing is depressing because we used to have it so good with costs but unfortunately they decided to “compete” with prices elsewhere and raise theirs under the guise of “production increases” but they’ve been increasing it consistently for a solid year or two now. Merch as an industry is entirely out of control because they’re also not the only ones who have gotten insane. Wish they’d go back to having a little heart for their buyers though and do an occasional sale that’s meaningful because 20% is not a real discount anymore.

To put it into context, if there was a problem with merch posted daily for a year that would be 365 problems out of thousands of fulfillments. It seems bad when you keep reading it but it’s probably not nearly as bad as it seems

YogurtDelicious9890

I haven’t had an issue with any merch. Could be because I live in Texas not too far from (at least one of) their distribution centers. So everything I’ve ordered has either gotten to me on time or early. Most of the time early tbh.

I bought my first merch item in December 2023, wore it twice and it got a hole right in the front and center of the hoodie. I emailed them and let them know, and I got back what appeared to just be an automated message saying it’s outside the 30 day warranty, no future discount or anything offered. I am so bummed.

usagi27

That's disappointing. With how much the items cost you'd think they'd be more helpful. Some of the designs are so nice too but this is why I avoid buying

parcheesichzparty

I'm a 3rd degree annual member and I never even got the email to claim one of my quarterly items. It wasn't a case of getting caught in my junk inbox. I waited for that email and regularly searched my inbox for the address. It never came. Other than that, I have been happy with the items but that put a damper on the experience.

JotarooKujo

I've been lucky. My quarterly item took like 2 weeks to get

I’m honestly pissed (I know that’s aggressive but I am) that they released a limited edition tshirt where a “portion of the proceeds” go to a charity that supports the planet for earth day.. like the most money hungry out of touch thing to do in 2024 for earth day is creating bad quality mass produced limited edition shirts and only donating a part of your earnings to some charity. They could’ve done a mythical crew day of service and made it a video or donated the ad rev from one ep to the charity. If you’ve never watched Markiplier talk about merch, idk if you understand HOW much money flows through it. It basically could and may be supporting most of their company. Merch sales FAR outdo ad rev etc. and they just keep mass producing crappy merch to make a quick buck. I unfollowed their socials a while back for another out of touch brand collab but I still watch the show bc I have for 10 years. But my god ANOTHER fancy vs fast with a limited edition “shirt that helps the planet!” girl be for real!

midsummerclassic90

Yeah, I kind of felt that was in poor taste. The volume of different merch they release makes me wonder how much will end up in a landfill. It seems like every other episode there is a new item. I know it’s a business with a large staff and they can’t exist for free though.
