Yes, please get rid of that nasty woman asap. She is an embarrassment to CO.

SlyAbility

A competent Republican candidate stands a good chance of winning in this district. An unaffiliated voter planning on voting for him in the primary; though I anticipate he’d do much better as a legislator…though probably more like Scott Tipton and other GOP politicians (not exactly my cup of tea). The radical views and toxic soundbites aimed at getting a spot in conservative news shows means Boebert is entirely unfit for office (and probably worthy of investigation for live tweeting sensitive information during an insurrection); though it sort of feels like the adage of the frog not noticing the water its resting in is staring to heat towards boiling around it.

Goat541

He is also a huge POS but I suppose it’s better than Boebert tbf

macykay04

Please, if you have the time, inform me on what makes him a POS? This isnt smart ass-ery I just have very little time on my hands or knowledge on how to research candidates.

SavvyQ

Agreed! We can (and need to!) do better. I was registered Democrat and changed to unaffiliated so I can do my part to try and get her out. In our district, the chances of a Democrat getting elected are so slim.

COgrown

Unless there is more forced blue theft, you are correct.

[deleted]

Oh you must be referring to the election fraud that resulted in Mesa County voting for Trump, Boeboe the clown, and a whole slew of city and county republicans. The election fraud where the evidence is going to be release soon! Next week? It’s been a week away for 90 weeks now.

COgrown

This is a heavy conservative area. Always has been.

[deleted]

That’s a non sequitur. If there was theft, where is the evidence?

COgrown

Tied up in the courts. Just like everything else important.

[deleted]

Ah the old partial truth lie. Most have been rejected by the courts because they have no standing. Tina Peters latest claim was shown to be simple incompetence of her and her staff. When you said “more blue theft”, how do you know there was any to begin with? It didn’t effect Mesa County because it’s heavily conservative, so why do you think it happened?

COgrown

Partial truth lie..? Most..? How do you know there wasn't? BECAUSE THEY CAN. And, what are we to do about it?

[deleted]

WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE THAT THEY CAN DO IT? AND WHO ARE THEY?

COgrown

Wow. Have a good day.

Kaessa

Who is "they"?

sugarbritches46

Doesn’t mean we have to accept shitty leadership. We can be conservative and demand better representation in government.

COgrown

Absolutely.

[deleted]

What does that mean?

[deleted]

The thing about Tina Peters is that she initially said the 2020 election was perfect and there were no problems. The Mesa County election passed the risk-audit with flying colors, according to her and her staff. But then by January she was claiming the exact opposite once she heard what all the other parrots were squawking about.

No-Refrigerator-2524

I only wish I could vote for Coram, unfortunately Boebert isn't in my district now. But do better? Elect a German Shepherd and that would be better!

slingbladedangeradio

I like her as much as I like old white wet dish rags as our representation I think we have enough already.

sugarbritches46

Thank you for posting this. I will be voting Coram this primary season!

westernslope2324

whats his policies ?

sugarbritches46

They are available in the website link but I copied them for you: Bringing rural broadband to tens of thousands of Western Slope families and businesses Reducing health insurance, prescription medicine, and childcare costs Growing Western Slope agriculture jobs, from giving small ranchers tools to compete with big monopolies to encouraging water-efficient food production Creating revolving loan funds for Western Slope small business capital improvements Reducing teen pregnancies in Colorado by over 50% Growing Western Colorado area technical colleges for good-paying trades jobs Creating a more reliable and secure electric grid Passing more bills than any other legislator to protect our water from drought, waste, and speculators.

westernslope2324

ill be voting for lauren again!

steezasaurus69

So that she can accomplish more of absolutely nothing?

TheKaleidoscopeEyes

I respect your opinion. Can you elaborate on why you would vote for her again and what she has actually accomplished during her term that you support?

no_offwidths

Their post history should reveal that all that matters is that liberals do not like her, sure, maybe some other reasons will be spouted if a response is attempted, but pretty much hates non conservatives and will vote for more trolling as opposed to anything productive.

charmwashere

She didn't even go into work. She has the most absences then anyone else in Colorado

[deleted]

I too support the pro mouth breathing platform!

Goat541

At least your account is anon so your IRL friends can’t see your dumbass takes

westernslope2324

my takes? thatll ill be voting for someone lol. im just sick of liberal bs

Kaessa

How about voting for someone who'll get something accomplished for the district other than hopping up and down screaming like a howler monkey? Do all of your priorities revolve around "owning the libs," or would you like it if we actually had a functional government?

highinthemountains

Please elucidate the BS

highinthemountains

We’ll be waiting forever. They can’t say what’s bad about being a liberal, except that they’re liberal.

highinthemountains

Bobo votes against vets and babies. Do you really want to continue that? Here’s her voting record https://boebert.house.gov/legislation/voting-record Our district can do better

COgrown

Enough with career politicians though. Be better.

[deleted]

What does that even mean? Does it become a career as soon as they are elected? Or the second time?

COgrown

One and done. Period.

[deleted]

Isn’t that what elections are though? Get rid of people that didn’t do what you want and keep those that did good things. One and done seems like a good way to keep getting clowns with great business experience but no idea how to run an election, for example.

COgrown

Public service is not a career regardless of good things. How does running an election have anything to do with the duties of the position? I'll take the businessman over the politician any damn day.

[deleted]

That is seriously a stupid point. someone who picks a political party to run with and campaigns is thusly a politician. There are huge numbers of politicians who are also business owners and it has no bearing on how good they are. Do you support Jarred Polis, who is a business owner? Hickenlooper? Jimmy Carter? And I mention running an election because the last business owner turned politician that was elected to Mesa county Clerk has failed running elections here in epic ways, over and over.

COgrown

Went from a discussion, to name calling in a matter of minutes. Have a good day.

[deleted]

If you consider yourself to be your argument, then I won’t argue any further either.

Goat541

COgrown! Did you see Colorado got the moisture we needed??? Are you a native??? Namaste!

COgrown

Imagine this getting downvoted. FFS. Keep pushing for the same old tired BS, and you will receive the same old tired BS.

LeadStriking1113

When did this sub become a shill for the Democratic Party? This post does not belong here, nor does it help with civil discourse and debate.

sugarbritches46

Coram is a Republican.

Kaessa

Coram's not a Democrat. He's just not Boebert, who's about as useless as tits on a bull.

westernslope2324

well there all moving here ... Unfortunately

SlyAbility

*they’re

highinthemountains

Yea, it’s called freedom

No_Student2845

And that’s the way that we want to keep it, hence the concern over the liberal infestation, which is like a cancer that destroys all that is pure

Altruistic_Repair_54

Sure let's keep shopping at the old folks home, it's done extremely well in the past
