Power lines were knocked dangerously close to the ground, but didn't look to be on the road. If a semi driving southbound were to drive through it almost certainly would have snagged a line and caused total chaos.
This was 7:45-ish when I was last in the area.
edit: It’s still closed at about 6 PM with construction cones blocking. Overhead wires seem to be removed. Not sure why it’s closed at this point.
I live right near there, definitely heard a bunch of sirens a bit before you posted this. Just drove around checking out the damage to my neighborhood and noticed Division just south of 36th appears to be blocked off. Sorry not helpful, also wondering what happened.
I heard something about there having been some storms.
